The whole thing just leaves me feeling like for awhile at least Skrulls will be the new "Marvel Zombies" gimmick.

As far as I'm concerned Bucky Cap can go play with Wally Flash...I have no love for those kiddo-sidekicks turned adult. It's like Ricky Schroeder acting as the boxer in The Champ, it's just not right. He'll always be liitle gay Lord Fauntleroy and that's about it.

Have to agree here. I was loving the series up until that point, and then it just took a total nose dive for me.

I really enjoyed Bucky as Winter Solider, I feel he's wasted as Cap.

Yeah you're not gonna like Bucky as Cap if you continually hope for Steve's ideals. It'll bother you to no end and make you miss out on one of the coolest ####in characters right now!! Bucky isn't a carbon copy of Steve (like Robin is to Batman) even as a sidekick he was doing some underhanded stuff so its no surprise that he continues to be his own person from there on......which is why I like him. I mean he was used as a cold-blooded killer for a while. It isn't easy to just put on your boyscout badge without eating some of the cookies.


It looks like something is gonna happen to ironman. (Though covers can be misleading) And from that spiderman cover the skrulls may still have a few tricks up their sleeves. Anyone think another of our heroes will die with this event?

I think this is Tony Stark's last hurrah. I do not believe he makes it out of this event. Either he's goes insane or dies. I have a feeling that there will be no more Mighty or New Avengers. I also believe that Clint will retun as Hawkeye.

I like the idea of the Avenger teams disbanding but I don't think it will happen. I can see Tony passing out for a while and needing medical treatment due to the virus, but I don't think he will die. I think War Machine or someone else might step up to be the temporary director of Shield.

What gambit? No Sentry? I know he follows Tony around and all but c'mon....

I'm thinking after this is over there will be one condensed Avengers team and maybe just reservests or another all-new named team.
I can't see Ironfist and Wolverine staying on really...(maybe Ironfist would stay I dunno) Strange should go back to magical protecter, but be like an "eye" for the Avengers roster.

Sentry was kinda left out on purpose, if you know what I mean...lol.

I love IF too much not to see him on the book (Is the only reason I picked up the book). I have Wolverine as an honorary memeber only because I know Bendis loves the character that he'll pop-up every now and then 9Plus I saw the spoiler cover for SI 8).

I'd like to see New Avengers end after SI, and for Marvel to restart the Defenders. Have Strange, Luke Cage, Spider-man be the "founding" 3, and position them as the "JSA" of the Marvel U, the #2 team.

I also want to see Thor and Cap back on the Avengers.

The Defenders should be returning. just finished the "Last Defenders" mini. The roster is Krang, Son of Satan, She-Hulk and a new Nighthawk with the old running things behind the scenes.
