What about "Tainter" - someone who can make other people appear evil when investigated.

Reibello suggested an unmisdirecter/unblocker be called a guide. Makes sense. They keep you from getting lost or stuck.

What about Framer for that? Tainter implies...something else.

Snoopy Role: Also known as a performer, this role can describe an event or activity tot he mod during the night phase, and have it appear in the following write-up, though it will have no other effect on the game. First appeared in Comic Strip Slaughter mafia.

Maybe a definition for "rattler". I know Thawmus has called me that on various occasions (but only when he was mafia, or I didn't believe his RC, heh)

I'd have a hard time coming up for a good definition for that right now.


I'm kind of wondering if there's a term I could come up with to describe a player that jumps into a thread, whose presence demands attention, everyone focuses on them relentlessly, and then they die. "Flare?" "Human Distraction?" "Candle in the wind?" Hmm.

Be sure to edit the bulletproof entry. From most games I've seen, bulletproof makes them safe from Vig kills / Mafia kills, but not Serial Killer kills.

I respect your contribution, but as a whole "bulletproof" has been taken to mean complete immunity here on the HCRealms, and this is a glossary for games being held here.

Someone else should weigh in on this though.

Most people seem to take bulletproof to mean total immunity and skers to have a special "exploit weakness" against this in their role rather than the bulletproof person being immune to everybody but skers...if that makes sense.

I still think it is worth mensioning on the bulletproof (and PGO) section that most serial killers can cut through their defense.

The general consensus seems to be if the sker can't kill the bulletproof townie, it's too hard for them to win.

Hacker: variation of cop who spies on the communication of the players outside the game (both Mason and Mafia)

I've always thought of that role as Empowerer or Energizer (as we commonly use Encourager for what you called a Guide).

Like to suggest: Ghost Writer: A role that enables the player to submit a section of prose for the Night write-up (usually without seeing the write-up).

Jack, or Jack of all Trades: A character who has the choice between several powers. Usually, he or she must use all the powers, before re-using one.

Reverse Jack: A character who has multiple powers, but does not know the effects that the powers will have.
