This bat rocks. He has the manuverability to be annoying and makes a great harrasser, as well as a main attacker. He is not a tentpole by any means, but then thats why he is so cheap. For the points he packs he creates quite a bang for his buck.
Take out those charging figures with outwit and let them have to walk up to you, and tick em off even more by putting a smokecloud in their way.
let him get hit once or shut off his indom. and let him take a couple of clix to put him on that 18 defend. To me though the thing i love the most about him is you can pair him with Nightwing or Robin (Crisis) and its almost exactly 200 pts. That i just find humorous.
A good defense will only last for so long, before you must crush your enemies outright!

Shame to have to do it just to protect Batman, but Force Field and Protected are a must...bringing his point total up to 138. Would i still field him?? you bet I would. Brilliant Tactician for his Bat Allies, as he so naturally should be.
this guy rocks. hes like a mini cr105 supes. throw lunge and maneuver on him 4 maximum fun. swingline too if your feeling frisky enough to spend that many feats on one guy. but whatever... people say hes a big target but so is anyone else you build a team around. and he needs one with that kind o def.
I want to be buried with mine. Seriously. Dig up my grave in 30-60 years and you'll get one. The people at my venue are truly sick of seeing me field him. I love trying so many different combos of feats on him. Lunge is a must. Swingline is huge, since chances are you'll be charging out of hindering. Thwart has yet to pay off for me on him, but I'm sure it will at some point. Protected is nice, but normally by the time you're at the point where someone is hitting him, chances are he'll just be hit again next turn after clearing. Landing on his perplex is iffy at best, so I've never tried Brilliant Tactician on him, but there have been times it would have been nice. The elevated stealth is great, because opponents forget about it and overextend, thinking that you've left him exposed - then you make them pay. But, sooner or later you will charge him into a fight he can't handle, and sooner or later he will get punished for it. Just make it count! The only games I've ever finished with him still on either of the top 2 clicks are 500 pt. teams with him and E2 Supes, which makes a fine World's Finest. And don't forget - sometimes 120 pts. is a worthwhile loss for the best bait in the game. Place him in the right place in a high point game, and watch your opponent totally open themselves up to your counterattack.
He is good but 120 points for No AV over 10, 7 Clicks of Life, and no DR is scary for me to field. I always play him with Life Model Decoy and he never disappoints.
This Batman is by far the best! I know he lacks a defense but for me he is never in the same spot for long and is always in stealth (so good luck basing him). Then of course with a little lunge and swingline this man is beastily
Let's get this out of the way: Protected is a must. Lunge is good, but risky (considering it is tied to the L/C and Charge SWP)...beyond that, he simply needs a highly mobile buddy to act as tie-up (Hellooooo AA Robin!)
This figure is a BLAST to play at 200 points. At all other point values it becomes too much of a target to enjoy playing IMO...I've played it on 600 point teams in which he was the LEAST expensive figure and it still drew all the attacks.
I rated this figure 5's across the board. I don't think it is the most dominant Batman figure in the game, but it is good enough (especially the sculpt) that it is nearly criminal that it was a chase figure.
I'm a HUGE Batman fan and all, so I hate to say how terrible this piece is. Sure, flurry and a full dial of L/C is good, and that Indomitable is awesome, but his attack needs at least an 11 to start off with. Those dry spots should've been filled with Combat Reflexes. The keywords are also stupid. Last I checked, Batman was the greatest martial artist in the world. This is just to big of an investment for a cool sculpt. They coud've made him 100pts, and then I'd buy him in a second. Sure he's the Batman, and-- (sniff-sniff) he's so cool, but he can not hold his own, and needs to much help.
Hey Batarang96..."the greatest martial artist in the world"??? Shiva, Ben Turner, & Richard Dragon (from this timeline) would like to argue that point. Not to mention Val Armor. Best pure "fighter" in this timeline? Probably but still arguable.
What we do in life echoes in eternity!
Respect is a given, only disrespect can be earned.
All around he is in my opinion the BEST figure made in this game. I love Batman. The fact that he needs feats like protected, swingline and lunge shows that he is always prepared and ready to take on anything that gets in his way.
PS. First game playing with Thors hammer, Batman picked it up and it was over from there.
The only thing that is not making this figure one of my favorite chases is that he needs a stronger defense, like super-senses. I have played him many times, even with his feat cards, he goes down pretty quick. You take someone with Hypersonic speed, or the new Captain America fig, and Batsy is toast. Earth 2 Crisis is much better in my opinion.
Let me start by saying that I've never been lucky enough to get a chase figure before, and believe me I tried when Crisis came out. My luck finally changed yesterday. I bought a leftover AA booster from my local gaming store and couldn't believe it when I opened it up and found him in side. I love the dial, love the sculpt, and I can't wait to play him!
