Won this piece back in the Arkahm days by the skin of my teeth. That day I didn't realize what I had until I played him a few weeks later. What else can I say "A Man Reborn?"..wow... Zaniest team build I have with him would be CD Man of Steel 200 + Edward Nigma + AA Question + a few lian harper (pogs)= an annoying 300 point team!
Can I just say I was so happy to see this piece and figure out that it was such a good piece. I grew up watching the Batman Animated series, and it looks like him from that show!!! Anyways, A Man Reborn? is a very cheap way to get Warbound for any character, especially if they can take a hit if the roll for it goes wrong, but don't just hold Nigma to that. He has a very respectable 10 attack and Outwit, plus Enhancement, Mastermind, and Incap all on the first click???!!! Thats just plain scary. I think this guy will be seeing alot of play all around...
Tomar Re + Edward Nigma + 2x GCPD = 12AV+ 12Range+ 3 Movement RS + 6 Damage + Perplex. And all for 225 points! You have enough to pop Gamora or another martial artist beater on the team. Of course A Man Reborn is a broken ability, but three Enhancers and Tomar Re's 12 range and 10 movement RS is probably the most damage I have seen at range that can be played in a tournament. Add on Gamora and no one wants to get near you. Try it out and watch other players get pissed.
I just got this piece, and I've heard a lot about him, but I'm not sure if I completely get how he lets another figure take an action every turn (which I've read a lot about.) First... Adjacent friend takes action, gives token to Eddy here. Second... Adjacent friend takes action the next turn. Takes it himself and Eddy clears. Third... Adjacent friend fires again and gives the token to Edward, but ... Doesn't clear because friend took an action that turn? Then you have to take a turn to clear them all...? I might be missing something. Plus... would Edward Nigma clear the same turn he gets the friend's token if he didn't take an action?

It doesn't matter which character you give the first token to, so we'll do it the way you described.
First turn Edward Nigma takes the token.
Second turn Superman takes the token and Edward clears since he took no action tokens this turn.
Third turn Edward takes the token and Superman clears since he took no action tokens this turn. Etc, etc.
A character clears at the end of any turn in which they did not take an action token. That's how he allows another character to take an action every turn. Also, the adjacent character does not need to be adjacent at the deginning of the action, just at the end...so moving, Charging, or using Running Shot to become adjacent would work.
How much can you take, and keep moving forward?
The Green Lantern Corps is DC's version of the US Marine Corps.
To MacGyver2506: That makes sense, but are you sure they clear if they are not given an action token, or is it that they clear when they aren't given an action at all?
My apologies, I just found my answer. The Fantastic Four Rulebook states: "Once you have resolved all of your actions for your turn and placed
the appropriate action tokens, remove action tokens from characters on
your force that did not receive action tokens that turn." So the strategy is true... I really thought it was too good to be true. :D
One of the strongest utility pieces in the game. Nothing rivals the ability to allow a big gun to go action after action every turn! Chief can't do it. This is better than willpower or indomitable. Plus, he isn't entirely incompetent by himself.
Win / Loss: 6-8 Eddie Nigma is a wildly popular figure and for obvious reasons. He provides the ability to shuffle action tokens breaking a fundamental rule in the HeroClix Game Design. Enhancement + Outwit + Incap makes for a great first click and recommended feats are Loner (if applicable) and Contingency Plan. Of course the Riddler's options makes for a marker man and so fodder must be included. A figure that is usable by beginning and weaker players, in the hands of experienced and advanced players his SP is incredibly abusable and relentless. Still, I think he is best on 400+ point teams even though he can work on a 300. UPDATE: 2015 - Mr. Nigma remains a potent piece. His 60 point cost keeps getting cheaper every year.

Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
The only downside is that he has a one in six chance of taking one damage and he has a short dial but this is minuscule compared to the advantages.
actually, he has a 1-in-6 chance to deal damage the OTHER guy. not himself. but i've only seen a 1 rolled 2-3 times since he's been around. he's rediculous with dr. doom, BTW.

I hate it when superman gets tied up with Plastic Man
Don't hate the player, hate the game. Or the figures. Or the dice. Or the map...
Needs a stronger penalty for using that SP. The best player at a venue I go to said to me, "Nigma is the MOST broken piece in Heroclix." He then proceeded to play Nigma and win the tournament.
Having Penguin (AA) + Inspiring Command next to Eddie would be brutal: Eddie can take a second action token and not push, since IC requires that a character with the same team symbol and lower point value (Penguin:70, Edward Nigma:60) be adjacent when the second token is placed on them. You could even go a step further and add Warbound to Penguin, Edward and other Gotham City keyworded characters, allowing Eddie to be given an action (when he has no tokens), pass that token off (to SR Joker, preferably), and still be able to be take up to 2 action tokens using "A Man Reborn?" in a single turn, without pushing.
