Yuck. I played him on a Guardians of the Galaxy team with Rocket Raccoon, Bug, and Star-Lord. +2 perplex was great, but other than that Adam Warlock just sucked up points that should have been put to much better use. With little offensive or defensive strength of his own, he's definitely not worth his hefty point cost.

I don't see the point. It's not comic-accurate (why Phasing? Why Mind Control? Why no Psychic Blast?). I think I'd make something like the Judge Death dial from Indy, because the Adam guy always returns from the dead.
Never played with it but seems a bit overprized.

Rorschach-
This is the version of him where he has the soul gem after giving up part of his powers.
Not sure why they made THIS version of him and not a more recent GotG version. Though, I suppose we got that in the form of Magus.

Over all I feel that this piece plays well, especially with the changes to perplex. the upside is that this piece can do a little bit of everything, the downside is that he tends to become a very expensive support piece. definitely worth trying out.

With the change to leadership, Adam just got even better at supporting his allies, and his high cost actually pays off in regards to leadership.

To expensive to be a supporter. To weak for being a main attacker. But i think he may shine in 400 or 500 point games.

160 + 40 not bad for the figure with the completed gauntlet.

Ahhh...this portrays itself to be cosmic soul-searching hippie Adam. After he lost his over bearing confidence but before he achieved full 'cosmic awareness' I enjoy playing this guy with high evolutionary for triple perplex! That gives warlock a starting defense value of 21! Although that dv and his plethora of black healing powers(regeneration, steal energy ) he should last long enough to do his job...theoretically. But he's always been one shotted into oblivion everytime I played him. I do like his end dial phasing teleport that spikes up to a high 12 movement! Basically allowing him to separate himself from the immediate danger. They really should've given him stealth for comic accuracy as well as giving him an all black click! Although he's not the worst warlock, he most certainly not the best either. This sculpt is one of the better sculpts of all warlock clix.

I got Adam in a booster years ago. I took one look, said, "Overcosted!," and put him in the back of the storage tray. I played him last night for the first time as the centerpiece of a 300 point/2 action Cosmic keyword team. I suffered one of the worst drubbings I've taken in a year. So much of what Adam brings to the table is in the "Him" SP, and the other guy had two long-range, mobile Outwitters . . .

Although I SHOULD use the 149 point Warlock from Galactic Guardians set....but now that the New High Evolutionary just came out and he works so friggin well with Man-Beast, I have to pull this old version out for a comic accurate team!

He actually still holds up! Sure His Stats Drop Like A Rock BUT THAT'S WHAT His DOUBLE Perplex IS for. Also the new evolutionary has triple perplex which will just better serve warlock here.
