How many boosters should be in a brick? Do we even need bricks? How many bricks or boosters should be in a case?
All related, and all pretty much irrelevant on our end.
Do we need "Buy it by the brick" incentives? Do we need "Buy it by the case" incentives? Do we need "chase figures"?
Also all related - and although more relevant, misses the true question: Does the company producing HC feel THEY need these pieces? And apparently, for WK, that answer was YES. Didn't seem to help them (enough) though.... Will new owners feel the same?
Do we need anything else in boosters (besides figures with thier character cards) to encourage purchase?
Not especially.
I dislike bystander tokens, theme teams have rendered BFCs virtually useless, I'm not really a fan of many feats, I'm neutral about special object pogs, and I like event dials. But none of these things influance wether I buy a booster or not.
Just give me a good assortment of figures with good sculpts & scaled correctly for about $2 per.....
[*] How many figures do you think should be in a set?
I wouldn't mind seeing 80, as long as they don't go back to an REVU system. If 80 just gets 20 more REV versions of characters already in the set added to the 60, then I'm fine with 60-figure sets, thanks.
[*] How many figures should be in a booster?
5 is fine. The individual rarities could be mucked with a bit, and I'd like to see more generics in the common slots (and nowhere else), but 5 should be fine.
[*] How many boosters should be in a brick?
I like 10.
[*] Do we even need bricks?
Yes. Encouraging bulk purchases is good for retailers, wholesalers, and the manufacturer.
[*] How many bricks or boosters should be in a case?
2 bricks of 10 works for me.
[*] Do we need "Buy it by the brick" incentives?
Yes. They are popular, and seem to help move bricks.
[*] Do we need "Buy it by the case" incentives?
I don't think so. Instead I'd like to see 6 chase figures in a set, with one per case. That keeps chases, and provides a "case incentive".
[*] Do we need "chase figures"?
I think so. They certainly seem to help drive sales.
[*] Do we need anything else in boosters (besides figures with thier character cards) to encourage purchase?
If they drop the feats/bfcs/bystanders/objects (something I'd be fine with), something should replace it (or we should get a price drop).
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash
O.K., let's try to set the "CURSR versus REVU" debate off to the side. Focus on number of figures in a set, leave "rarity levels" alone for now.

Insert your questions here.
1. I think set sizes are fine the way they are. 60 is good
2. 5 figures in a booster is fine with me.
3. 10 keep it nice and even.
4. Bricks help with collation issues, so I say we keep them.
5. I would like a way to get a full set CURSR in a case. There is no determined number off the top of my head.
6. BIBTB is a great incentive despite the figures being rather useless (I am looking at you Phantom Stranger)
7. Buy it by the case would be a great incentive for certain things. I think it would work well for colossal figures like Phoenix, Anti-Monitor, Sentinels, or convention exclusives.
8. As much as I hate chase figures they do help sales.
9. I like getting feats and BFC's. I do not think anything else is needed and can actually be released as a starter set. This includes event dials, 3-D objects, extra generics, and other things.
10. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

How many figures do you think should be in a set? 120, make about 30 of them commons, 40 uncommons and 50 rare/super rare
How many figures should be in a booster? ....one common, one uncommon and 1 rare/super rare/unique
How many boosters should be in a brick? no bricks
Do we even need bricks? no
How many bricks or boosters should be in a case? 60 with three figures per booster in a 120 figure set. It would take on average 2 cases to complete a set.
Do we need "chase figures"? sure if they are 1 per case
Do we need anything else in boosters (besides figures with thier character cards) to encourage purchase? if you do then the product mustn't be that good

remember when the game and pieces were highly sought after? when uniques for $10 were considered a steal? The harder it was to complete a set the more valuable the game pieces were. Can we have that again?
