Since posting a person's address is a good way to let others know not to trade with someone at that address, I can see why he posted it.

Since the rules of the Realms say that's a big N.O., I can see why people told him he could not do that and why the mods edited it out.

Since posting the address is not allowed, what is an alternative way to warn people about this scammer?

For the record, I was the one who edited out the contact info. As has been stated, posting personal info is a big no-no, and I figured leaving the street and city visible would be enough - those interested could contact Alpha-Omega and get full details.
Those who have been scammed have my full sympathies, but there are better ways to do this. Too bad Alpha-Omega did not agree.

Since I did not make this point clear when I edited the contact info I will not issue any warning points this time though.

I know Rock810 used to keep a log file of known scammer's contact information. Don't know if he passed it on to KitsuShel when he stepped down though - I haven't seen it myself, and I haven't started a list of my own.

So who else got scammed by this guy? i did on another site and even told rock about it when he resurfaced here unfortunately he had already scammed some here. so it is great we all know the idiot lives in burbank, ca but are there any others who wish to join together to get this scum-bag?

Please show me where in any of my posts where I was "bashing" you or "supporting a con-artist". I was just pointing out that you were in violation of forum rules and it was done to try and help you in future posts so you did not get warnings from the mods. Silly me. Even though I don't ever want to see anyone ever get ripped off by another trader, I no longer feel the slightest bit sorry for your loss because of the way you presented yourself here on this post. And don't worry, I won't post on your thread anymore. I'm done debating with people that are to pig-headed to see reason.

Iam sorry but i have to agree with maddragon he was just tyring to help and you blew up...i have gotten scammed 4 times here in 1 month in and half back in Oct-Nov around there..I know it sucks but its all a waiting game..This stuff takes process and time..I wish we could just say "Hey give me my stuff back!!" But it is not that easy...I guess its all a learning experiance...

I was also scammed by this guy. It was about 6 months ago or so. It really torked me off after being on this site since the beginning, to then finally go ahead and try a trade/purchase with someone on the realms, only to get screwed was depressing and embarrassing, frankly.
I'm also kinda bummed about PayPal. They said they were only able to get the money back to me if it "appeared" in his account someday. Like that is going to happen! That guy is loooong gone. It makes sense, but is still frustrating. I understand their situation though.
The spazy exchanges on this thread by most is a totally different topic though. Of course the forum rules should/need to be followed. We know that. It's just the way posts go back and forth, both sides not willing to give an inch, nitpicking each other to death......welcome to the internet, I guess. At the same time, I find the "science" of posting both hilarious and sad.
