I'm in agreement with all the follow ups - hardly trash, at all.
Don't get me wrong, there are, debatably better 30ish pt tourney legal pieces (GCPD, Bucky, The Hood), but a couple Multiplex do a team good! As already stated great tie up pieces (when one dies the other heals back), great for TA Wild Carding, I love the L/C into Flurry, great MM fodder. I love a swarm/MM piece that I don't mind dying.

for a scientist team try;

SI starter, Mr. Fantastic + brilliant tactician (120 points)

6 Multiplexes = 180

300 points, play deep shadows or shrunk so you dont get out ranged, send in the swarm

+2 damages on the guys attacking

+2 defense on the guys resting

play a game called "find the tent pole"

its a mix between hide and go seek and a pinata!

I've wanted to play that team but do not have enough Multiplexes! I bet it's big fun.

its hard to get Mr.F situated to where u can perplex everyone

i use the Grid Reality Batcave map, start on elevated, and then you wait for a character to get close then u ambush him!
