To be honest, I don't really care for orange soda all that much. It's just the only orange thing I could think of at the time I was writing all of this week's releases.
I think it's because I was drinking a Tropicana Strawberry-Melon beverage, and Tropicana just makes me think "orange, even tho it wasn't an orange drink".
WONDER WOMAN #31 - having failed to stop the creature Genocide, Diana must contend with her possible replacement, Achiles, whose a guy, but wears the same outfit Wonder Woman wears. This might not have anything to do with thirst quenching orange soda.
if anyone who got or is getting the underground BFTC title would let me know if they show any images of Two Face in the bats costume ... I want to mod him up ( well repaint an existing bats) and slap him on the LE dial.

He's just wearing the mask, cape and utility belt. Other then that, he's buck naked and enjoying the night air as he chases down some bad guys.

"So now you've been warned to turn back. Stay away. This could happen to you! Because there's always a bigger fish in the pond. And that fish is me."
Yrra Cinryl, now a Star Sapphire, has an internal monologue about how the vengeance in her heart has been replaced by love. She now loves John Stewart and wants to find him, apparently knowing he's on Okaara.
Gretti, a nomadic GL from Okaara, is ordered by the Guardians to return to his home sector to help them confront Agent Orange. They then add the fourth new law of the Book of Oa: the Vega System is no longer outside Green Lantern Corps jurisdiction.
In the Vega system, every criminal in scrambling to evacuate before they are imprisoned. The Green Lanterns begin their raid in the system, led by Hal, who still wears the Blue ring. It keeps asking him what he hopes for, but he doesn't have a sincere response to it.
The Lantern crew and Guardians (sans Scar) arrive on Okaara, where Larfleeze attacks using constructs of the Controllers, as well as the rest of the Orange Lanterns. They gang up on Gretti, who is literally torn apart. His ring is then consumed by the giant head lantern, who use it to steal his identity, replicate him and create a construct of him. Meanwhile, Hal is abushed by Larfleeze, who says he wants the Blue Ring.
Afterwards, there's a "Tals of the OLC" backup story about Glomulus, Orange Lantern of Sector 2826. He was a parasitic slug who belonged to a servant girl and made a living by eating the scraps her masters threw to the ground and relished it. When the girl's master threatened to eat him, the girl stabbed him. Glomulus tasted some of the blood and...well...you know. He then came to the Vega system, was killed and converted.
Great issue here, mostly because I know understand how the OLC system works. And the mystery of Hal Jordan's Hope is another good question (I bet it's Sinestro's death). I'm glad I read this.

Starman: Thanks!
Jakeem: Who are you talking to Starman?
Starman: Everyone.
Not much to tell here. The JSA have a surprise birthday party for Stargirl, there are some sweet moments, we go over some significant moments from Johns's JSA stuff and we close with Starman thanking the audience for reading. Pretty nice. I don't know where the series will go from here, but I hope it's good.
Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds #4 of 5 Rated 8.5/10
"Man, it's nice to be lightning out of a bottle. You ever see Aladdin? Now I know what that genie was talking about. PHENOMINAL COSMIC POWER! Itty-bitty living space!"
We begin in the past (or present, as it were), with Starman going to work as a gravedigger in Metropolis. He comes to one specific grave marked "Kent" and begins digging.
Back in the future, there's still massive LSH + LSH + LSH + Superman vs. LSV fighting going on. The real story is Bart Allen's return. As Brainiac 5explains, the lightning in the lightning rod was Bart from Infinite Crisis, when he went into the Speed Force to try and trap Prime. However, he still has his memories from his time as the Flash, including his death by the Rogues.
After the exposition, Kid Flash goes up against Prime again, with Sodam Yat as his backup, while the three Brainiacs, Gates and Light Lass go to the North Pole. As the founding three and Superman are about to join the fight against Prime, the Time Trapper plucks them out of time. He does this so that they can watch Superman's influence be destroyed while he kills them.
Meanwhile, Sun Boy hears about all this on the news. He puts his ring back on, rediscovers his powers and goes to rejoin the fight.
Back in the fight, Prime kills Kinetix (don't care what Legion she's from). The Legions then go crazy on him, including Element Lad transmuting the rocks around him into Kryptonite. Naturally, they don't affect Prime...at first. Then they do. In pain, he kills Element Lad and flies away. Saturn Queen calms him down and Mordru informs them that something big is about to happen at the North Pole. Prime flies there, with some of them hot on his tail and the rest staying behind to fight off the villains.
In the Fortress of Solitude, the three Brainiacs meet up with time travelers Polar Boy, Wildfire and Dawnstar, who have brought with them a hair from a young Lex Luthor. The main Brainiac 5 puts it into Superman's laboratory that Starman buried there 1,000 years ago. As Brainiac is about to activate it, there is an earthquake, knocking loose debris and conveniently knocking out all the Brainiac 5's. In order for the machine to finish it 1,000 year work, someone needs to activate the right crystal. And it's up to Dawnstar and Wildfire to do that. After some obligatory tension, Dawnstar figures out that Wildfire will pick the right one. He does.
Meanwhile, Polar Boy goes up against Prime and gets his arm burnt off. As Prime is about to deliver the killing blow, Sun Boy arrives to give him some help. They both get knocked on their ###es. Then yet another unexpected ally joins the fight: Conner Kent. Boosh!
The founding three and Superman continue to fight the Time Trapper, as well as watch the Prime fight. As the Legionnaires descend upon Prime, Superman manages to get close enough to Time Trapper to tear off his robes and see who he is (I wish there was a better way to say that). They discover that he is Prime with a beard, the aptly dubbed "Prime Trapper".
Comics Rule #1: Death is a temporary state.
That is all.

I don't care enough to review this right now. Maybe later.
JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA #26 - Geoff Johns' last issue is this special stand alone issue spotlighting Star Girl in a story called "Black Adam Ruined My Birthday." and all I got was this lousy t-shirt advertising orange soda.
And it was your own shirt -- there was another one just like it in the laundry.
This issue was pure awesome, reminding me of why I fell in love with this title in the first place. Geoff Johns will be sorely missed.

Now if only you'd fallen in love with Johns instead of the title... Who knows? In time, you may've become Max Fortune-Johns. And, in the fullness of time, you could've been the mother of his 10 children.
