Updated with reviews on a lot of the preview figs, but I've omitted those we don't have an exact definition of all the SP's, so we can see exactly what they do before alloting a rating.
Really excited so far. There's a lot of very solid dials in this set. They seem to me to be built for long-haul fighting. There's a lot of figs who don't ever lose a lot of AV or DV and can fight all the way down. I certainly prefer that to top-loaded monsters who are useless after a shot.
Bumping this, as we have quite a few more dials, complete with SPs (or strongly suspected ones, as in the case of Phalanx Soldier and the mystery card-spoiled SP "Hive Mind").

This thread has been significantly harder for me to get into with so few "official" previews. True you could review the dials somewhat on speculation, but between it being second hand information, and with no cards included, you making a lot of guesses during reviews.

Late to the party, to be sure, but the time hasn't been there and we've had relatively few official reveals, given that so much of what's out there is via preview pieces sent to venues sans cards.
So, for now, I'll stick with the pieces that have made it to the Units section here at HCR:
I expect this will go up; the luck of the revealing draw has been mostly towards characters I was lukewarm towards.
010 M-11 Oh, excellent. I know, the lack of damage-reducers will be a major issue for some, but a figure with three opening clicks of 18 Defense, an 8-click dial and three closing clicks of Regeneration, a great and steady AV (10 for all but the final click) and a steel-steady 3 Damage down the length of the active dial all for 59 points (!) gets across the durability of a robot. The lack of move-and-attack powers is helped considerably by the first five clicks of Willpower, too. Four clicks of Psychic Blast starting at click #4 and a reasonable 6 range adds some versatility. I'm very interested in not only seeing how he works alongside his Agents of Atlas teammates, but am almost ecstatic that they were wise enough to make him a Common and not make him a unique, as a robot is a terrible thing to waste. I consider this to be the seventh generic in this set's Commons. I expect to be thrilled to see this one in a booster's tray almost no matter how many I pull.
011 Enchantress - I was looking forward to a new version of Amora and in general this one works well for me as she uses her magically-augmented charms to get others to do her bidding and to take a blow or bullet for her. The reduced damage-taking from Mind Control is welcomed. TK was an interesting choice to give her, but given that it's mostly used in this game to get an ally into an immediate combat situation I'm reasonably pleased that this works thematically for her. The stats are reasonable, and steady, as she tends to be an indirect combatant, as she tends to be someone who has gotten what she wanted through something other than direct conflict. Mystics is reasonably appropriate here, as this is definitely a woman who will not take scorn lightly. All that said, she really only loses points for losing her main defensive powers late in the dial and for being quite as pricey as 141 points.
020 Karnilla - I'm torn on the sculpt, as the sculptor was specifically told to make her head somewhat larger -- presumably as an hommage to Jack Kirby's approach - rather than going for later, more proportionate and comely interpretations. Here, at 64 points, we get a reasonably good interpretation and value for the Queen of the Norns, though I'm not in full agreement with her sole Defense for the first three clicks being Shape Change. These Asgardians are fairly sturdy beings and should have some Toughness. Honestly, a Special Power combining Shape Change and Probability Control would have been welcome and reasonably appropriate, given how she's so often been one of those characters who has switched alliances and influenced the outcome of conflicts. The three clicks of Enhancement in the mid-dial and PC coming in only on the final two clicks is a rough attempt at this. Three clicks of Psychic Blast followed by three of Incapacitate is welcome, and reasonably useful at an 8 range, albeit with just one target; as she was one to cast magicks from afar, mystically observing a target in a mystic pool or cauldron, I'd agree with the single target but would have either given her greater range or an early SP to allow her to ignore characters and terrain for determining line of fire... but that's irrelevant now.
022 Moonstone: (I'm taking a little leap here, as I haven't seen the sculpt nor the list of keywords.) 76 points for 6 clicks, two opening with Running Shot, the rest with Phasing/Teleport, three opening with Psychic Blast, ESD on all but the first click, Shape Change on the first three clicks, and Outwit on the next two. Three slots of 3 Damage followed by three of 2. An 8 range and a single target combines with the above to giver her an effective reach of 13 on her first three clicks, wherein she can deal 3 clicks of penetrating damage; as the first two clicks have an AV of 10, she's likely to do it, too. Again, I know this will be one of the figures some will decry as comics-inaccurate, citing some of the fights she's been in and noting the lack of damage-reducers, but I'm reasonably happy with her and have been waiting for a new version for a long while.
035 Loki - The female version of Loki is one I gradually warmed to. Wily and manipulative, I soon saw that the guise is really just a convenient mask for this trickster god(dess.) The dial appears to be built a bit more for combat purposes than character accuracy, as this version of Loki should be less likely to move immediately into deadly combat. At 122 points, though, leaving her the role of manipulator may have been too risky, and there's nothing to say that she couldn't muster deadly force immediately.
037 Songbird - While initially I was a little cool towards a 6-click, 83 pt. Songbird with no damage-reducers, I've come to find that I'm still looking forward to her. She'll provide a versatile option, and if I want a lower cost one and/or one with TK, I can always pull out one of the REV set from Fantastic Forces. The first three clicks are where most of the versatility is in play, as she has both Speed and Damage slot Special Powers. One allows her both Running Shot and Force Blast, with the other allows her to not only use Barrier, but if one chooses she can dismantle an opponent's barrier piece by piece as she places hers, allowing her to Punch Through a defense and allow one of her comrades to make an attack. Besides that, we have her as a flying, twin-targeted piece who opens with two clicks of Incapacitate - one of my favorite power combinations - followed by two of Pulse Wave and then two final ones of Psychic Blast. Granted, she only has Running Shot on the first three clicks, and her sixth/final click sees her AV drop to 7, but she remains useful throughout her dial. I'm very interested in seeing how she works dynamically with fellow Thunderbolts Venom, Moonstone and Penance, also in this set. (I'm still waiting on confirmation of Penance's actual points, though if he's been drawn down to 68 pts or less the four of them will fit on a 300 pt team and should make an effective, themed force.)
042 Phyla-Vell - An odd, mixed bag for a fairly loosely-defined character. This version seems to be one of those that tries to chart her abilities over a stretch of her career, apparently choosing to interpret both super strength and the quantum band-derived powers largely via fairly high Damage values and the 10 range. At 138 points she's extremely inexpensive for the Power Cosmic TA. With only three clicks of Toughness, just past the mid-dial, Phyla-Vell's mainly depending upon not getting hit. I am definitely interested in trying this dial out, though; while each game will be its own, I'm hopeful she'll play better than my first impression indicated; being able to move, Perplexing her already solid 18 Defense to a 19 and still be free to move or attack the following turn without pushing makes for a good combination. The shots I've seen of her sculpt, especially if one puts her on her back - with limbs somewhat stiff and her head slightly raised and turned to one's side... the phrase "...and think of England" came straight to mind.
059 Volstagg - A potent, mostly close combat, damage-dealing package. I'm awaiting the dials for Fandral and Hogun to see how effective the Warriors Three will end up being. If one were to knock the Speed down a little and ditch the Warrior's Three SP I'd say this would be a high-end dial for The Blob, which is appropriate. A familiar character, much like his fellows in the Three, I haven't really been awaiting a Clix version of him. If I happen to pull him I'll likely keep him and try to play him, but I can't say I'm excited about him. He could be fun, though.
061 Thor's Mighty Chariot - For me, it's largely a novelty piece I'm only likely to use in some special, obviously high-point game scenarios -- scenarios that are much more likely with Surtur, Fire Demons, Ulik, Rock Trolls, etc. on the way. Definitely of more interest to me than World's Finest ever was, this piece at least makes sense. That it can carry two characters is an excellent move, too.
This thread has been significantly harder for me to get into with so few "official" previews. True you could review the dials somewhat on speculation, but between it being second hand information, and with no cards included, you making a lot of guesses during reviews.
True, but quite a few dials with no special powers have shown up, and a couple with special powers have corroborating reveals of their SPs among the Mystery Cards. Barring any hidden traits and sans actual keywords, these characters are pretty much totally revealed:
Bug Hand Ninja Phalanx Soldier*
M-11
Karnilla
Moonstone
Enchantress
Loki (female)
Star-Lord*
Gorilla Man Songbird
Venom
Phyla-Vell
Volstagg Kurse
Bold are complete with card, keywords and all.

Co-sign. The whole point of the thread is the review of complete figures. An incomplete picture leads to a speculative review...well, more speculative anyway.
Post #24 updated with M-11, Moonstone and Songbird -- taking a little liberty with covering the first two as I don't have all the card info and so don't have the keywords.
So far I'm getting more interested in the set as I start to consider it more pointedly.
Alright, finished updating with all the known dials - even if they are missing information - with the exception of Heimdall who looks broken as all get out (but I really like him anyways).

2016 Wisconsin State ROC Champion
2017 Wisconsin State ROC Runner up
Whoooooohooooooooo, we're back in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For real even. First up is Loki in drag.
001-Bug
The Good - It's Bug. Solid stats and dangerous on every click. Mobil.
The Bad - He might actually be a click too long, but that's up for debate. Those middle clicks with no protection could be bad - but with 3 damage he can still be a threat.
The Ugly - Would have prefered the original look, but I'll take him.
Isn't that Special - Well it is Bug so he is special, but no SP's.
Overall - Fairly cheap tie up/harrasser/secondary attacker. One of my top wants when the set was spoiled and the dial and sculpt don't disappoint. 9.5
002 Kingpin
The Good - Bout time we got an updated version. I like him being the master mind to start and a combatant late dial. Looks like he'll play like Kingpin should.
The Bad - Another that I think has a dial that's too long. I'm not sold on him having a 10 AV, but at least it's mid dial. Combat Reflexes?
The Ugly - Pretty static pose, but it is the Kingpin after all.
Isn't That Special - We don't have the wording for them yet, but if they are close to what is in the spoiled list they fit him well. Updated - Super Senses and Master Mind (up to 125 pts) is really nice. Outwit and Leadership are a good fit.
Overall - Little pricey for me, but he looks like he'll be fun to play in a SinSyndicate team and should end up being one of the last me standing for your force. Bumped a half point for the SP's 7.5
003 - Hand Ninja
The Good - Who doesn't like Ninjas? Who doesn't like generics? Who doesn't like ninja generics that are commons? Keep him on click one and have fun.
The Bad - Pushing the points for a generic. Super Senses would have made him more playable if it was front loaded.
The Ugly - Yep, that's a ninja.
Isn't that Special - Nifty little free attack power will be good for harassing Batman and the like.
Overall - I don't collect ninjas, but I would be happy to pull 3 or 4 in my case. 7.0
004 - Rock Troll
The Good - A common generic. Long dial for only 25 points. Pretty good AV.
The Bad - No protection whatsoever. DV is low.
The Ugly - He looks too skinny.
Isn't that Special - Charge if Ulik is on the field, and why wouldn't he be?
Overall - Here's a generic that's priced right and I can see myself playing. 7.5
005 - Jimmy Woo
The Good - Relatively cheap Leadership piece. Super Sense will help keep him around. Perplex is good.
The Bad - What roll does he play on a team?
The Ugly - It's the male Jessica Jones - only with a gun instead of decaf.
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - He's ok, but nothing really stands out about him. Too many points for a tie up piece, and not enough offense or support powers to fill those rolls. 4.0
006 - Pip the Troll
The Good - Six clicks for only 42 points. Super Strength to help with his damage. Super Senses to keep him safe.
The Bad - I smell abuse coming.
The Ugly - Can this set get any more D&D like?
Isn't that Special - Houston we have a problem. 42 points should not get you movement anywhere you have LOS to and then a free attack. Even with his low damage this could get ugly.
Overall - If it wasn't for the special power I'd be ok with him, but the SP just makes me cringe. 3.0
007 - Marvel Boy
The Good - Decent range and the AV is consistant if not mind blowing. EE to start the end dial PysBlast to keep the hurt up. Park him in hindering and his DV becomes really good with ESD.
The Bad - Speed is on the low side so his taxi ability is weakend. End dial defense hurts for the points.
The Ugly - The agents of Atlas sure aren't getting much love in the sculpt department. Ok but bland.
Isn't that Special - Here's what he's all about - MC with an Incap kicker. Nice.
Overall - His special power really makes him worth the points (ok, I'm a sucker for MC and used to love the automatic token it placed - ahh the good old days). 7.5
008 - Phalanx Soldier
The Good - More generics. Nastly little blades piece with some Super Senses to keep him safe.
The Bad - Another generic pushing it points wise. No range hurts.
The Ugly - It's a blurry photo but looks really cool.
Isn't that Special - Makes sense.
Overall - With his special power the will work well in groups, but are you willing to spend that many points for a no range 4 click dial? 6.0
009 -Malekith
The Good - 6 clicks deep with the Mystics TA and Shape Change to make you decide if you really want to try him. Front loaded Tk is always a plus.
The Bad - Other than Shape Change and potentially an SP, he's got no defense to speak of. Goes down hill fairly quick.
The Ugly - Not a great picture, but the sculpt looks pretty good.
Isn't that Special - He's got two but which ones? Answer - Fruit of the Faerie (good) and Lord of the Dark Elves (Pysblast and Pulse Wave).
Overall - It's going to come down to his special powers. IF they are Fruit of the Faerie and Illusion he'll be worth the points, otherwise I just can't see spending 91 points for tk. With the SP's now revealed I'll bump him a few points, but he's still pretty fragile. 6.0 (could jump to 7 - 8 depending on the Sp's)
010 - M11
The Good - Holy consistancy Batman. He's going to hit no matter where he is on his dial, and can break all damage reducers the whole way. Regen on him is just mean.
The Bad - Might be too consistant and long lived for the points.
The Ugly - Pretty bland if you ask me. Might be better in hand.
Isn't that Special - Thankfully no, otherwise he'd be broken.
Overall - Wish I had some connection to the figure, but as it is he's going to be seen ALOT and I'm sure I'll find some uses for him. 6.5
011 -Enchantress
The Good - 10 range with two targets and MC - yes please. Starting TK and Perplex so she can be a team player - yes please. End dial Psy Blast and PC to remain dangerous her whole dial - yes please. Steady AV. Mystics TA.
The Bad - She doesn't have a 3 damage click without using Perplex, but I really don't think she deserves one. Outwit would have been nice but I can live without it.
The Ugly - Might just be the angle, but her legs look really skinny. I hope it's not another Jessica Jones. I've also noticed that there are quite a few static poses so far - not always a bad thing but a little more action would have been cool.
Isn't That Special - Love Enchanting, but then again I'm a big MC guy and with only taking damage for 200pts is great. Devotion is another good power - MM if you've got the people next to you, or Toughness to take a hit if you don't which is really nice to have late game if you're force is down on figures.
Overall - This is a solid figure that is going to end up really suprising people with how well she'll fit into teams, especially over 300. She's a solid secondary attacker/support piece that's going to be hard to take down and dealing damage the whole time you try. 9.0
012 - Valkyrie
The Good - Another common generic. Good AV and the Toughness will extend the dial.
The Bad - Might be one click too short. End dial Running Shot doesn't do much for me on this one.
The Ugly - Looks ok if uninspiring.
Isn't that Special - With her AV this could be a nice support figure, but you need the right conditions.
Overall - Another generic pushing the points limit. She will be ok with the right team, but I don't see myself playing her much. 6.0
014 - Asgardian Warrior
The Good - Good Av and decent DV. Toughness to lengthen the dial. I like how the BFC overlaps the 2 damage clicks.
The Bad - Another dial that seems too short. The 11 AV might end up being wasted.
The Ugly - Ok, this one is strait out of D&D.
Isn't that Special - Charge and +1 AV under the right conditions, I'll take it.
Overall - I like him better than the Valkyrie. 7.0
015 - Fire demon
The Good - Anther common generic. Good damage dealing potential.
The Bad - Low movement = no taxi. Short dial with no protection.
The Ugly - Yep.
Isn't that Special - I like how it's keyed off of having Surter around although 3 range Charge isn't going to be that huge of a deal. The bonus to AV is nice.
Overall - Well as many already know, I don't play demons and won't collect them. Having said that even if it wasn't a demon I don't know just how much I'd use this figure. I can find better uses for 33 points.
016 - Thor
The Good - When he hits you (and he will with those AV's) it's going to hurt - alot. 6 strait clicks of some sort of move and attack. Damage reducers his whole dial. He's indomitable. 15 effective range his first 3 clicks.
The Bad - Even with all those damage reducers his dial feels too short.
The Ugly - While not the outfit I'm used to (haven't read Thor in years) I can't complain.
Isn't that Special - None that we see, but the potential for a trait is still there.
Overall - As he stands I like the dial. Depending on the trait (if there is one) he could become awesome, or awesomely broken. 8.5
017 - Balder
The Good - What a brick. Great (too much?) stats. Damage reducers his whole dial. Just a beast. At least he doesn't have range (or does he?)
The Bad - I think he's too good for the points. Don't like the overlapping BCF/3 damage.
The Ugly - Very D&Dish.
Isn't That Special - Has one, and if it's the spoiled version I like it and it's not too powerful.
Overall - I'd almost feel guilty playing this guy, but I do love the bricks... 8.0
018 - Fandril
The Good - Sick AV. Really good DV with tons of damage reducers. Good damage.
The Bad - A click too long and I think the stats are too good for Fandril. Not sure he deserves Outwit.
The Ugly - Digging the Errol Flynn look.
Isn't that Special - Trait is insane when you have the rest of the Warriors Three. Flurry and L/C is really nice.
Overall - I'm a sucker for the Warriors Three. 8.5
019 - Chase Stein
The Good - Six clicks deep for 45 points is pretty nice. Almost a full dial of Combat Reflexes will make a decent tie up piece. CCE will help the damage.
The Bad - Will get creamed by range. Low movement hurts the taxi ability.
The Ugly - Not sure I've seen this one yet.
Isn't that Special - L/C is good to get him where he's going. The GL ability is nice, but the low movement hurts. I like how he can carry other Runaways even if they have the flight ability.
Overall - Another Runaway that I really have no connection to with a dial that's decent, but doesn't scream play me. 6.5
020 - Karnilla
The Good - Starts with being an attacker, ends in a support roll. Decent stats.
The Bad - With only Shape Change make you think twice about hitting her she could be done away with fairly quickly.
The Ugly - Nothing too dynamic, but decent.
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - Solid figure for the points. 7.5
022 - Moonstone
The Good - Another much needed remake. Love Running Shot and Psyblast. Shape Change works.
The Bad - No damage reducers or Super Strength kinda sucks.
The Ugly - Pretty boring if you ask me.
Isn't that Special - Zippo.
Overall - I liked the spoiled version better, but this one is a good upgrade from what we had and I'll gladly play this dial. 8.0
023 - Beta Ray Bill
The Good - Another needed/wanted remake. Running Shot to Charge and ending with Running Shot - he's a mover. NICE damage. Really good AV.
The Bad - The naked defense for his last two clicks scares me. I'd have liked to see some Willpower or Indomitable - I seem to remember him as one of those constantly pushing kinda guys.
The Ugly - Here's another beauty for a sculpt.
Isn't that Special - Doesn't have any.
Overall - Really good update and I can't wait to get one. 9.0
024 - Namora
The Good - A fairly decent price for a flying brick. Good stats.
The Bad - No real connection to this figure and the flying brick has been done before.
The Ugly - Detail looks pretty good.
Isn't that Special - 2 that we don't know yet. Both the spoiled seem likely which are decent enough.
Overall - Decent enough dial, I just don't have any real reason to play her. 6.5
025 - Starlord
The Good - Now we're talkin. Sharpshooter with Combat Reflexes and Running shot - nice. Switching to Stealth and RCE. Dual targets with an 8 range.
The Bad - Little pricey. Defense could use some help - but the Defenders TA can cover that.
The Ugly - More dynamic would have been nicer, but still decent.
Isn't that Special - Galactic Marksman is the bomb.
Overall - GotG are going to be played all the time by me. 9.5
026 - Pluto
The Good - Never below 3 damage and 9 AV. Clicks 2-5 are scary. He's going to hang around awhile. Fairly cheap for what you get.
The Bad - Naked defense from click 6 on. No move and attack which seems odd.
The Ugly - Looks like an old comic I saw.
Isn't that Special - One - Curious to see if it's a spoiled SP or a new one.
Overall - Hard to say without knowing the SP, but with the dial as it stands I'd play it for fun. 6.5
027 - Moondragon
The Good - A long awaited remake for me. I love MC, and with 10 range even sweeter. The two targets is nice, and I won't mind taking the feedback damage. The end dial is amazing.
The Bad - No Avengers keyword or any TA. The TK is ok, but with where it's placed I could do without it.
The Ugly - Not sure what they were going for here, but I'm not a big fan.
Isn't that Special - A giant with BCF and PB - pick your poison, either way you're putting on a hurting.
Overall - I love this piece. She's cheap enough to build around and can hurt your opponent for most of her dial. 9.5
028 - Rocket Raccoon
The Good - It's Rocket Raccoon. Starting PC is good, flowing into Outwit. Full dial of Super Senses. Decent stats.
The Bad - Would have liked to see the EE moved to the front.
The Ugly - No complaints here.
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - THE figure I want the most and like Howard the Duck before him, they did a pretty darn good job. 10.0
029 - Gorilla Man
The Good - It's a gorilla, man. First half of his dial he's a tie up/harasser. Second half he's a mean monkey. Regen is just icing on the cake.
The Bad - Wish his first half damage could break Inv. A gorilla with an Uzi should have had EE.
The Ugly - Love the sculpt. Gorillas with guns lol.
Isn't that Special - None barring a trait.
Overall - He should be fun to play on my animal theme team. 8.0
030 - Owl
The Good - Lots of Super Senses and the begining 3 clicks of BCF will make him a good tie up/danger piece. L/C to get him there.
The Bad - Would have like some end dial L/C.
The Ugly - A more dynamic pose would have been nice (him gliding or something).
Isn't that Special - Perplex for defenses only - ok I guess.
Overall - Wasn't expecting much from this B-lister, but he turned out pretty good. 7.0
031 - Ronan the Accuser
The Good - Double target Incap is always a plus with an range. Deep dial made deeper with all the damage reducers. Good AV and damage.
The Bad - Not a big fan of Force Blast, might have been more useful end dial. DV isn't anything special.
The Ugly - Really good looking fig.
Isn't that Special - One that we don't know yet.
Overall - A needed redo that could really be something depending on his special power. Even without one, he's a keeper. 8.5
032 - Daredevil
The Good - I like DD. Good stats. Love Super Senses. Exploit Weakness is different.
The Bad - Would have prefered Combat Reflexes to Toughness, but I can live with it. 3 natural damage seems high for DD. Dual targets is only marginally useful with 4 range. Really would have liked to see some Willpower or Indomitable.
The Ugly - I love this sculpt. One of my favorites in the set.
Isn't that Special - Ah yes. Stealth/Leap Climb/Ignore others Stealth = Epic Win.
Overall - The only real drawback I have to Daredevil is his point cost - 81 is a bit high for a secondary attacker - but as I learned with M&M Beast, I'm not going to discount his effectiveness. 9.0
033 - Sif
The Good - Another close combat beast (beastette?). Good AV's like all the other Asgardians. Lots of damage reducers. She'll be dealing damage with her Exploit Weakness or CCE.
The Bad - Once again the stats and damage reducers might be too good.
8 clicks deep seems like a bit much.
The Ugly - Not liking this one much at all. The Orphan Annie face doesn't help.
Isn't that Special - Another unknown one.
Overall - She may well be worth the 93 points, but I'm just not feeling this dial as much as some of the others in the points range. 6.0
034 - Hogun
The Good - My favorite Warrior Three member. Killer AV and DV. Damage is nice too. Full dial of damage reducers.
The Bad - His speed is too high and his DV could all be dropped by one.
The Ugly - Might be the angle, but I'm not as impressed with him as the other Warriors Three.
Isn't that Special - Trait is what it is. Getting +1 to damage if he has a token might be overkill since it overlaps his 3 damage clicks.
Overall - He's a beast and I'm happy with most of his dial. I'll be playing the Warriors Three for sure. 8.0
035 - Loki
The Good - Clix is back. 3 damage with Psy Blast and 8 range - ouch. Throw Perplex on top with an 11 AV - double ouch. A mobile secondary attacker/support piece. Clicks 3 and 4 could end up being a pain.
The Bad - I actually think the damage and AV's are a bit on the high side. Lot of damage reducers is good for playablity, but I'm not sold on being character accurate.
The Ugly - Not a fan of the female Loki in general. It might just be the pic, but the face looks off. Really static pose.
Isn't that Special - None for her.
Overall - Good to have clix back and not a bad way to start the previews. There is nothing that makes me go wow I have to play this, but a solid figure all around. 7.0
036 - Heimdall
The Good - Tons of Charge. Love the full dial of Super Senses. 3's and 4's for damage his whole dial. Killer AV.
The Bad - Too good for the points. No range hurts, but with range he'd be totally broken.
The Ugly - Pretty niffty looking.
Isn't that Special - His Gjallerhorn sp is ok, will be nice if you keep a medic by him. Sight of Nine Worlds is just crazy.
Overall - At least he'd take up half your force. 7.0+
037 - Songbird
The Good - Another 8 range dual target Incapper. RCE is nice as is PsyBlast.
The Bad - DV's are hittable. AV's are ok, but nothing special.
The Ugly - As long as the paint job is good this is going to be a beautiful figure.
Isn't that Special - Two beauties. Running Shot or Force Blast give you some options. Break Through is going to be fun to learn how to get the best out of.
Overall - A bit pricey, but I think will be worth it. If I want cheaper I can always grab the FF one. 9.0
038 - Venom
The Good - 8 clicks of mean. He's going to be one of the ultimate tie up terrors. Once he has you you're not going anywhere. Super pushable.
The Bad - A little blocky for my tastes as far as power set goes. That first click of Steal Energy is going to make for some hard choices - heal or go for double damage and keep that tasty 17 defense in close. Wish he had the Avengers TA.
The Ugly - Another really good sculpt - it's going to depend on the paint job.
Isn't that Special - No, but the rumored trait giving him Leap Climb will be nice if it's there.
Overall - Really good figure that will be even better if he has a trait, and I'm not a Venom fan. 9.0
039 - The Destroyer
The Good - I hated the spoiled dial, this one is TONS better. Love the damage dealing potential. Full dial of damage reducers. Good range and move and attack for most of his dial.
The Bad - Could have been beefed up even more, but I'll take it. Don't like the 2 for damage at the end. Poison is still a head scratcher. Wish he had Indomitable.
The Ugly - Beautiful sculpt.
Isn't that Special - The Xmen ta without the constraints of having to have matching ta's. NICE.
Overall - So much better than the spoiled dial I could cry. My second most wanted from the set. 9.0
040 - Captain America
The Good - Smokey Foot Cap has arrived. Solid numbers for a rookie. Good damage. Good range with dual targets. Running Shot is nice.
The Bad - Would have prefered Indomitable and one more click of life. Three clicks of 3 damage is pushing it. Some damage reducers would have been nice.
The Ugly - Smokey Foot Cap has arrived and the Heroclix world rejoiced.
Isn't that Special - One, and if it's the one from the spoiler cards I like it.
Overall - A good representation of a rookie Cap. 8.5
041 - Molly Hayes
The Good - Full (short) dial of damage reducers. Good damage potential.
The Bad - Super short dial. 19DV? Really?
The Ugly - Little ducks rule.
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - Will be a good tie up piece and somewhat of a threat, but that's about it. 5.0
042 - Phylla Vell
The Good - More GotG. Cheap Power Cosmic character. Good damage numbers and potential with the BCF. Perplex is always handy.
The Bad - Having to take a hit to get to HSS. Some incompatablity issues.
The Ugly - Pretty sweet looking but the face looks a little off (could just be the angle).
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - Another fine addition to the GotG, even if she doesn't get the keyword. 8.0
043 - Penance
The Good - Fairly cheap and I like the Quake.
The Bad - The Regen seems like an after thought. Numbers aren't anything that make you go wow. No Avengers TA?
The Ugly - Looking pretty cool.
Isn't That Special - Two - 612 souls looks fun. Pain is my power could make him a decent tie up piece.
Overall - He's ok, and I like the SP's, but I don't know how much I'll play him even on theme teams. 5.0
044 - Air Walker
The Good - Love Regen on Power Cosmic guys. Starting HSS and then regaining it for longer later in the dail. RCE for some damage. 10 range with dual targets.
The Bad - Not sure I like the starting Super Senses. Inv is nice, but the 16 is too hittable. You're not going to be using the Incap most of the time or Force Blast.
The Ugly - I really like the look they gave him.
Isn't that Special - No.
Overall - He's a decent piece, but at 201 I don't think he'll carry his weight. 6.0
045 - Karolina Dean
The Good - Starting Running Shot with EE is nice. Good range. Psy Blast is a plus.
The Bad - Nothing really bad about the dial.
The Ugly - Haven't seen her yet.
Isn't that Special - Giving ESD to adjacent friendlies is pretty niffty.
Overall - She's ok, but nothing really screams play me unless you are a Runaways fan, and I'm not. 6.0
046 - Fenris
The Good - Full dial of Charge, almost a full dial of Blades. End dial Impervious is nasty. Really good AV's.
The Bad - Low damage to start so you've almost got to use BCF. With luck you can hit him right past his Imp clicks. Impervious end dial is nasty, but not as much with a 14 for defense.
The Ugly - Looks intimidating.
Isn't that Special - Dealing penetrating damage to only Asgardians might not be the most useful SP - but it sure looks fun.
Overall - He's a big dog that likes to bite - but a bit on the expensive side. 6.5
047 - Nico Minoru
The Good - I like the Perplex, but for her it's all about the Sp.
The Bad - Those are some pretty pedestrian stats.
The Ugly - Haven't seen it yet.
Isn't that Special - Really cool idea for a power. I like that you can't use the same power two turns in a row.
Overall - If the stats were better I'd say that she's a must have just for the fun of the SP, as is I'm not that impressed and don't have any real love for the Runaways to play them as a theme. 5.0
048 - Spider-Man
The Good - Seven clicks deep for 59pts. A different take on Spidey. Good AV and I like the end dial Charge.
The Bad - Damage is pretty low for Spider-Man. Same with Defense.
The Ugly - Looks like a fun sculpt.
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - A different take on him and should be fun to break out. 7.0
049 - Ultron
The Good - Now we're talking Ultron. Whether it's because of Impervious rolls, dealing damage via Master Mind, or healing through Regen, Ultron is staying around a long time. 12 range is awesome. Good AV and damage numbers.
The Bad - Only one target and his DV is a little low. I'm reaching here.
The Ugly - That thing is amazing.
Isn't that Special - MC a robot or armor figure and no feedback - LOVE it.
Overall - My most wanted SR by far. 10.0
050 - Hela
The Good - Holy smokes that's a long dial. Add in Mystics and nobody is going to want to hit her. Good stats. She's a support piece that can handle her own and get to where ever she needs to thanks to Phasing.
The Bad - 200 points is alot and I'm not sure she's a stand alone army.
The Ugly - Not too bad.
Isn't that Special - 3 of them. Oh boy, all doubles are a crit hit - nasty. Psy Blast and EE work. Getting to roll to see if you're comrades are ko'ed or not is crazy. Thankfully it can't be pc'ed.
Overall - It'll come down to the special powers to see if she's worth the points. Right now I'm leaning no, but we'll see. Updated - she's boarderline worth the points even with the SP's. 7.5
051 - Odin
The Good - He WILL hit you, and it WILL hurt one way or another. 3 targets is sweet.
The Bad - No starting move and attack will limit him somewhat. Don't like the Force Blast. Running Shot at the end of his dial seems a bit wasted.
The Ugly - Another good looking figure.
Isn't that Special - Super Strength as a trait.
Overall - Not sure if he's a one man army, but he's close. 7.5
053 - Seth
The Good - Pretty long dial with decent stats. The frontloaded Prob Control is nice. He's mobile and should be long lived.
The Bad - Only Toughness mid dial for protection. With 10 range I want to keep him at range, but with poison I want to be in close too.
The Ugly - Decent looking but hard to tell from the angle.
Isn't that Special - He's got one.
Overall - Another figure that the special power could really put him over the top. As he is, I like but would probably pick others first. 7.0
054 - Loki
The Good - Another long lived Mystic. Love Psy Blast. Front loaded PC is good.
The Bad - I don't think he should have that high of an attack or damage. A little vanilla as far as powers goes.
The Ugly - That's the Loki I know.
Isn't that Special - 2 of them.
Overall - He's really expensive, but his special powers could make him worth it. 6.0
055 - Valkrie
The Good - A Defender with an 18 for DV is nice. Good AV and decent movement will be good with the transporter ability. Starting Super Strength makes her natural 4 damage even more deadly.
The Bad - That mid dial lull is puzzling. BCF is nice, but when you can deal 4 damage naturally it's wasted. Enhancement? Those last two clicks hurt.
The Ugly - James did another wonderful job.
Isn't that Special - None.
Overall - She's got enough going for her to be playable, but I think I'd use the original version more. 7.0
057 - Thor and Loki
The Good - Damage dealing beast. Insane AV and damage. Really good DV.
The Bad - Can't use in a normal game.
The Ugly - Looks good.
Isn't that Special - A full dial of sp's. Invulnerablity that can't be countered - nice. Running Shot and Shape Change - nice. Super Strength and Perplex - yup, nice. Battle Furry and EW - not as nice but good. Quake and Outwit - you guessed it - nice.
Overall - They'll be a pain to take out and will be taking people with them that's for sure. 8.0
059 - Volstagg
The Good - He's going to be a beast to take down with all those damage reducers. Great tie up piece that can wreck some big damage with those AV's and Damage stats.
The Bad - Seems a bit on the cheap side. No move and attack power hurts him, but it does keep the cost down. He's a SR.
The Ugly - Love it - stepping on a troll and eating and drinking = Volstagg.
Isn't That Special - Great, thematic trait - although if you play all three I think his AV become a bit over the top. Volstagg the Enormous is funny, accurate, and usable.
Overall - I admit, I'm a Warriors Three fan so I'll be a bit biased. I think he's going to be a great close combat/tie up piece and hope that I pull one. 9.0
060 - Kurse
The Good - Another damage dealing close combat brute. Lots of damage reducers and that Regen will keep him around along time.
The Bad - His AV could have been bumped up some. Not a fan of the ending 2's for damage.
The Ugly - Really good looking sculpt.
Isn't that Special - Relentless gives Kurse some mobility with the added bonus of mini lunge. Nice.
Overall - If Kurse was on facebook I'd be a fan. 8.5
061 - Thor's Mighty Chariot
The Good - Clix is back. He's (their) lowest AV is a 9. Decent if not spectacular DV. The Charge and (later) Running Shot coupled with the transporter ability give you some nice options. Tons of damage reducers and that regen can bring you back to some nasty clicks.
The Bad - A little on the pricey side for only one click with a natural 5 damage. I would have liked to see a 10 range.
The Ugly - Looking pretty sweet from the pictures. I'll let you know when I get it in my hands in a few weeks .
Isn't that Special - Here's what really makes this figure. His two traits are both good. Being able to carry two characters is nice (and accurate) but being able to destroy terrain for free is just awesome. Especially since it's ALL adjacent terrain.
Butting heads is just wrong - in such a good way. Force Blast for damage = to the roll + any normal knock back damage. Evil.
Hooves and Horns is awesome - BCF that you don't have to use the damage rolled is money. Especially when you're like me and get that 1 at just the wrong time.
Battle Forged is going to be nice for those figures you're carrying. Giving you're Asgardian Warriors a tasty 18 DV.
Drag isn't (a drag that is). Placing that bad guy next to you're buddy and letting them beat up on him too, after the baddie takes a couple, nice.
Overall - You know I didn't even really want this figure when I first heard that it was going to be the BiBtB fig. Now that I see it as the first in what is hopefully many more sets to come I couldn't wait to order it. Good all around power house that's maybe a bit on the expensive side. 8.0
Running Excitement Meter - 1000000000.0 (or 238.0 if we're being technical).
I just quoted myself, hmmmmmm.
