I don't think DC really has a reason to retcon anything. They're doing well enough as it is, and they're just starting to move a lot of their titles in new directions like with Barry Allen coming back. Rebirth appears before Blackest Night, and it still has a good four issues left establishing Barry's role in the DC universe. I don't think they'd change the universe in which he's just been reintroduced four months from now. Same goes for Dick as Batman and Superman's New Krypton development. There's just a lot of development left for these changes that probably won't all happen before the possible time of said universe altering, unless we're talking about minor changes.
I don't think Carol Ferris is going to make it out of blackest night. Atrocitus apparently had a vision that the guardians would take Hal's greatest love away from him, and Hal would once again rebel. This seems pretty possible because the guardians are now minus Ganthet and Sayd and are willing to go to some extremes to extinguish other lantern corps like with Larfleeze and the Blue Lantern Corps. Now that Carol's a star sapphire, it's definitely possible that she is killed because of the guardians.

First thing I want to know is WHO is that LET THE Heroes return from the dead. Black Hand say that is somebody letting that happen and should not had. that is the reason of why Hal, Barr, Superman and others return.

second: I will really like IF this series introduce some Vertigo connections with the mainstream universe. like "Dead" apartion in this series, THAT will be awesome! if Johns is as good as I think, he can explain EVERYTHING respeting the Vertigo stories and expanding everything even more and better.

Barry Rebirth is after, before or current with Blackest Night? he is not Black Flash in Blackest Night so, I will like to know how that works. and for sure Barry MUST have conection with Blackest Night for be Black Flash and comeback from the dead.

Well it kinda happened in Our Worlds At War what with so many charactors
being killed or going M.I.A. While continuity changed because of those events it was really only a cosmetic change all the origins remained pretty much the same Kal-El is still Superman and Bruce Wayne was still Batman.
Depending on how one views such things it's concurrent or acting in conjunction with the events that lead into In Blackest Night like the falling of dominoes it is but one event on the path to an end result.

I heard Rebirth was BEFORE BN.....so anyway...
If it connects with Vertigo...well i'm at a loss....Maybe We'll see the Nico-look alike again...

nah. Ambush Bug is actually the REAL Secret Identity of The Black Beetle (look the Booster Gold series for that big reveal in the future).

Also Ambush Bug is Darkseid' friend. He is the one who is distribuying Superman and "Big" Barda Porn tape after Sleez died.

A couple of predictions:

1. Hal will first bear all the rings but will unable to withstand the power or get it taken away. Which leads to...
2. Sinestro will then bear all the rings himself and go out as "The Greatest Lantern of all time".
3. Though he is awesome, I think Larfleeze will get destroyed.
4. Carol Ferris will die or be close to death.
5. In the end, Black Hand will try to summons/make something happen using Bruce's skull. But being that he isn't "dead", won't work, changing the tide of the war.
6. Wonder Woman will be the Lost Sapphire.
7. Atrocitus won't die, but there will be no more Red Lanterns.
8. They destroy the Black Lanterns by removing their rings.
9. Scar will not die, but she will be depowered by the other Guardians.
10. The Guardians will ask Ganthet and Sayd to rejoin, but they will refuse.
11. Sinestro will hand Mongul his arse.
12. Sinestro's daughter, can't remember her name, will die, making Sinestro use the combined power of the rings (see no.2)
13. I think Nekron's scythe/power battery is the actual power battery Anti-Monitor is in.

These are just my predictions, not facts!
