1. Dr. Mid-Nite makes a Close Combat attack on Commando: 9 Attack vs 15 + 2 (CR) = 17 Defense. First roll is 5 + 2 = 7; Sandman PC's and the reroll is 4 + 5 = 9 for a hit. 2 damage and the KO on Commando.
2. Spectre sees the JSA Chairman fall and decides Vengeance is due on Hawkman's counterpart. Rolls for Breakaway and gets 4; Destiny PC's that to a 4. Spectre Charges to F-10 and makes a Close Combat Attack on Mystique; 11 + 2 (Inside Info) = 13 Attack vs 14 Defense. Roll is 5 + 2 = 7; 5 damage and KO as Spectre causes Mystique's doppleganger abilities to run wild and leave her a formless mass.

arachne misses twice with stunning blow on spectre. i just have no firepower to take him down at this point. i'll concede.
i may want to try a team with the 'realms-made indy dials and throw a little guardians of the globe at ya, if you want another match. i have been reading invincible and it is a fun book.

Well, if anyone understands wanting to switch off when the current team isn't any fun it's me, so no worries.
Yeah, if/when you want another game just ask. We can even try out those dials (I keep thinking they seem powerful for the points but it'd be neat to test).

Attack - In Your Face!: Rex Splode can use Energy Explosion. When Rex Splode makes a close combat attack, he may choose to modify his damage value by +2 for the attack (before the dice roll); if he does, he is dealt one unavoidable damage after the attack resolves.
(Attack) Teen Team Leader: Robot can use Leadership. If Leadership would allow you to add an action to your action total for the turn, you can instead put a Leader token on Robot's character card if there are two or fewer Leader tokens on the card. When another friendly character would take pushing damage, you can remove a Leader token from Robot's character card and roll a d6; on a result of 3-6, the character ignores pushing damage.
(Defense) Strategist: Robot can use Perplex and Mastermind (he can deal the damage to a friendly character that has a higher point value if that character shares a keyword with Robot); damage transfered using Strategist may not later be dealt to Robot.
