I would say I DEFINETLY enjoy the box sets, although there is a certain mystique and great enjoyment derived from poening boosters. I Loved the BPRD set, as well as Invincible, and feel box sets are perfect for the Indy characters. TMNT is a set I've been waiting for from day one! There's plenty of charaters ot there that need a Click made in honor of them, just NOT the stupid X-BABIES!!!! I hate X-BABIES!!!!!!
Hmm, I think I never disagreed with one of your arcticles as much as with this one...
1.) Top 22 Heroclix Box sets we want! Where did you pull this data from? I'm assuming they are 22 sets You want and if that is the case, good on you, but to say that we all want these sets is kinda selling it a bit much.
2.) When you said about Watchmen "Sure the movie is a snore-fest and the trade paperback is most overrated piece of comic book literature ever made" I have to disagree with you. The movie was good in my book and the Comic itself is fantastic. Did like the "There's only one question I have -- can a HeroClix figure be designed with removable pants?" reference though.
3.) When you stated "And for you comic geeks who have not seen the Rocketeer, The Phantom, or The Shadow yet, shame on you!" I have seen all three and I am ashamed I saw The phantom and the Shadow!... Rocketeer was very good though...
4.) West coast Avengers have been created, albeit in different sets, but they have been made.
5.) I don't care for a batman beyond set, but that's just me.
6.) Walking dead? seriously!?? How would Rick hold up against superman or sentry or Hulk? This sounds more like a horroclix set to me...
7.) BTW, in refernce to #8. "crapfest" is an opinion. I love the show "Heroes" and would by a set on them in a flash...

From what thele said in the article (and I agree that it struck me as arrogant presumption), this was a poll done on his Clix site.
So technically, there is a "we" involved here, but it isn't necessarily a Realms "we".

I was thinking about this just the other day, having box sets based off of the current big screen hero movies.
The Dark Knight set, Batman:Begins set, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Blade, Spider-man, etc.
All having new sculpts based off of the movie look, the mk1, mk2 & mk3 armors as well as Iron Monger, and so on.
That would be very cool, and appeal to many different fan bases.

This could have been an aswome article if the writter had taken it a bit more seriously. I mean there are so many themes that could have been awsome: Reign of Supermen, Onslaught Saga, etc.

thele - you really need to start checking the ego at the door before you begin to write. recent articles have swung from objective and informative to i'm right and i don't care what you think 'cause - you're wrong.
thele speaks for all of hcrealms remember? At least some people, besides myself, have seen some of this stuff as complete trash. I can't wait to see his angle to twist this into a big joke that he didn't mean to come off arrogant and was just messing around.
I'm not entirely sure where you're getting the WE from in the title because I definitely would pass on most of these. I'm curious who made you the public voice of what everyone wants???
Blackest Night, Dark Knight Returns, and Watchmen I would be all over, generics set I'd probably pass on (except orange constructs becaues those would be awesome).
I stopped reading after you claimed that DKR was a "much better story" than Watchmen. Anyone who makes claims about Watchmen being overrated needs to go sit in on some post-modern symbolism classes and maybe read beyond their current lineup.
And that was after the slap of "in true Marvel fashion". I'm no Marvel fan, but they hold 75% of the marketplace. I think you are somewhat out of touch with the comic industry.
