That would have been a much better idea! Using the Skrull Invasion would have given the heroes a reason to set aside their differences and they could still have guys turn on them like they did with the nanites. Also, I can just imagine the boss fights in the third game with The Hood/Dormammu, the rest of the Cabal, and the Dark Avengers, and The Hood's Crime Syndicate would provide a bunch of smaller villains to beat up on throughout the game.

On the topic of the cast, that Thunderbolts team looks really cool. And I especially like the Mighty Avengers team because I've been really liking that book for the past couple of arcs.

I'm interested in hearing more about that Doom/Power Pack team. I've always been interested in playing the PP, but have never really come up with a solid team to use them on.

I like the new way of distributing BIBTB figures. It saves me the shipping money and it requires a lot less effort on my part. I split a case with my twin brother for Arkham, and we sent in our UPCs, vouchers, and shipping money, but we never got anything back because of all the crazy stuff going down with Wizkids at the time.

I only have a Wii, so don't get me started on a rant about MUA 2

I have a Wii as well, also a PS2, so don't get me started either. Although I will say the first Ultimate Alliance for the Wii didn't look to interesting though. I think that all games for the Wii should give you the option of using the GameCube Controller. I don't want to pretend I am Spiderman webbing up some bad guys.
