I would just like to point out that the e-mail in the original post is neither professional nor polite. We need more information before we can go around calling Neca "sadistic" if we want to be professional.

I'd like to give Neca a chance to address this before I send an e-mail. Let's see how well the new ownership stays on top of its releases without us badgering them every step of the way. Who knows, they may actually address this sometime soon.

Uh, not likely. Those cards are clearly marked with the HoT symbol in the bottom right corners.

I'm not stressing out, so no reason to chill out. When I want to know something, I ask questions. Good communication (minus the few typos in my letter ) is important to me, so I contacted them.

If it's .pdf distributed, that would be cheesy, as it has no collector's worth or resale / trade value at the point.
