Don't get me wrong...I Love GOtG and this new card!.........but Phylla?
No one thinks Phylla should be able to ignore this (handicap), can she do something?
Turn off this or that?
I Know the card is worth the loss of her willpower, but can't I get it back w/ something?
Like ICWS? (In Contact W/ Shazam)?

You can just not play the ATA when you have Phyla on your team. The Defenders TA ain't that bad, you know...
The only other thing you can do is hope the feat gets errata changing the prerequisites to GotG keyword and Defenders TA.
It's another example (in a long list) of GD or play testers just totally &^%$#@! things up. I mean, seriously, how hard is it after all this time to get these things right?
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........

Well, who says they did not intend for the ATA to be incompatible with Phyla?
The fact that it is not popular does not equal that it was unintentional. Just saying.

This is certainly not the first time that some figures can lose something by being forced to take an ATA with the rest of the team.
Why is it an issue all of sudden?
Black Knight, Hawkeye, Incredible Hulk, and Two-Gun Kid all lose the ability to use Move & Attack without counting towards the allotted actions if played on a team with Avengers using T-Bolts or Alpha Flight.

The use of Thunderbolts means that they are also gaining something in return for the loss. Oft times (all the time IMO) in the case of T-Bolts, the gain far exceeds the loss. In this case, she already has Power Cosmic TA, which is a huge cost TA, and the ability to 'push' for free. Now she loses the 'push' for free, and 'gains' something she already had/paid a cost for, and is now paying an additional cost for. Hardly what I'd consider a good trade off. Alpha Flight costs 0 points to give a permanent 'Perplex' to AV, pretty cost effective IMO.
Call it what you want, I call it another blunder in GD/play testing.

The tradeoff is that the rest of the GotG are underpaying for a powerful new ability. I don't think it's a blunder at all...it's a game balance.
God is smarter than we are....
Visit Heroclixin'! Or check out my trade thread. Molly Hayes' KO list: HoT Ultron, HoT Thor, SI Iron Man, AV Wonder Man, SI Sentry, LE Diana Prince, R IC Ultron, Pretty Boy, CW Kang, IIM Thunderball, TW Catwoman, OP Red Hulk.
Off Topic: (as long as the OP doesn't mind) rather than create another thread, I have some questions. I am doing some research. What figures that have been made already do not have the Guardians of the Galaxy keyword? I have Adam Warlock, Gamora, and Drax. Who else? What other members still need to be clixed?
Thanks!
Heroclix is a strategy game with comic book characters where you can shoot sheep guns and quip with Spider-man and Deadpool. It is played by some of the nicest, most giving people on the planet. That is why I play Heroclix.
The remaining members of the original GotG: Martinex, Charlie-27 and Nikki.
From the current team: Groot. Jack Flag. Cosmo the dog, arguably.

^ Great! Rep! Really don't understand why I don't have a Charlie-27 yet
Any members I missed that don't have the keyword?

I wouldn't say underpaying. They get 1 choice with the ATA. Look at the aforementioned T-Bolts. Any TA except PC/Q (which this ATA is not), and you get to chose the TA after you see your opponents force, for 1 point more. With T-Bolts everyone on your force gets the full benefits of whatever TA you choose, and no one gets 'screwed'. With this ATA, if you want to play the most powerful figure the team has, and you want to give the team a better TA, you have to 'screw' over your most powerful team member.
Honestly, if I am ever playing this team, I will just play the Resistance BFC. Same benefit as the ATA with 0 cost, plus they still get to use the Defenders TA and Phyla-Vell gets to use/keep her PC TA.
I still think it was a blunder by GD/play testing, and really nothing anyone says will convince me otherwise. I mean, it's not like that's happened before......
