Very lethal front, and with Nova Blast and TK help, he becomes a major threat. Killer sculpt too!

Took on a team that consisted of all kinds of animals. Gorillas, horses, coons, some insects and this funny little frog. My pulse wave (w/NB) was probbed by the racoon. I still had frog legs for breakfast. Victory Ultron and his phalanx buddies.

i have only played him 3 times so far but he is a monster with great key words! 2 of the 3 times he was beastly but thanks to skrull roles he kinda fell short one match where he was flurry bladed for 12 dmg... uhg lol what can u do?

Ever since I opened Ultron he's been in every single team I can put him on. I have destroyed a THor and Loki, numerous thors, thor's mighty chariot, Supermen, a Thor Buster, and a world's Finest. I wish to make it clear that Ultron did not deal the victory blow to all such matches, just that he greatly contributed to the outcomes of the matches. I can't quite put my hand on it but Ultron seems to attract attention and survive long enough to weaken the opposition until my opponents realize that they have been defeated by the time Ultron is taken down. Ultron is sick in the comics and this piece does him justice!!

Wonderful design and another reminder of why we don't need special powers all that often (frankly, I would have been totally happy with this being a 175 point figure with normal mind control mid-dial). Even with the extraneous special power-a great figure.

Glad they have charge and not running shot top-dial, or else, as someone pointed out, he would border on broken.

Don't make the same mistake I did last night, ADD FORTITUDE!

I like the charge over running shot for this figures first few clicks. It has that "I am gonna beat the #### out of you" feel to it.

While his numbers show surprising sag at the end considering who he is, this really is an amazing representation of Ultron, and having Charge where you might expect Running Shot makes his play very different - he can threaten to Charge in on Stealth guys from a long way off no matter what kind of terrain he has to move around. And yes, there's Nova Blast, but that's not what he's all about since he can easily be based... no, the real treat here is his Indomitable, which lets him hold up his end of that point cost without much trouble. The SP adds flavor without being too useful. Why not pair him up with a Hulk or someone to act as willing Mastermind fodder? The hardest thing to figure out is how to get to see his 2nd click's Outwit, since you have to sacrifice a very good first click... only if a certain power is really bustin your chops is it worth pushing on purpose.

I don't understand why he doesn't have the armor keyword instead of the cosmic one. Nonetheless, a great piece. About time for Masters of Evil to bring something to the table.

It's not that my venue WON'T let me play with him anymore, but at the same time, I feel like a jerk for continuously wiping the floor with them using him. He's had his day in the sun on my teams. He can rest for now, but his time will come again...on special occasions.

Nova Blast does break him; he's the new Nimrod to me in that regard. But MOE ta would make him almost unbeatable. Shoot every turn, take no damage? Kthxbai.

Actually, Indomitable doesn't protect against the MOE damage. Because MOE deals "Unavoidable" damage when you push, not "pushing damage".

When I found out that his indomitable protected him from the 2 pushing damage cause by using nova blast, this guy went from one of the best to the best in my book!!

He would still take damage from MOE they changed it to 1 Unavoidable damage. So I'm kinda glad he doesn't have it because it would probably make him 200 points if not over that, MOE is a very expensive TA.
