(I'm imagining two Gertrudes based with an opponent with invulnerable - triggering a Lend a Dino loop that would go until a critical hit pierced the defense or enough critical misses KOed a Gertrude.)

Yeah - if that door ever opens, I would expect to see something on GY/OL saying that it would be once per action. The 2 would still chain, but it would be limited to one each. (And this wouldn't hurt Flurry attackers since the Flurry action contains 2 close combat actions, each with its own attack)

Lend A Dino would ineed still work, though, since it activates on close combat attacks, not actions.

Would Gert and Lace's Lend a Dino Trigger. I believe it to be so. I cannot see why it would not work.

It should trigger twice (four total attacks), but if you have my luck, you'll roll doubles on the first attack.

It's too bad option two of Hypersonic no longer exists. Then you could REALLY get into how effective lend a dino could be.

I don't have an old copy handy at the moment, but if I remember right, even though you (theoretically) rolled many times, it was all one single attack; once you missed or decided to stop the damage was added up and dealt in one big lump sum (within the rule of 3, of course).
