Because it is non-optional; it says so right in the MIGHT AND MISCHIEF description.
yes... Might and Mischief is non optional, you cannot cancel it...
but this is not what USE and POSSES means as it has been explained to us.
Now that i think of it, the explanation you give normalview would also make that the only attack Thor and Loki can make with that power is using exploit weakness, cause the power is non optional. How can this be?

The non optional special power says that they can USE Battle fury, not that they posses the power battle fury.
If they can USE the power then they can choose to use it or not, and Iīm not talking about Might and Mischief Iīm talking about battle fury.
Can someone explain this to me?
Also, you are misquoting the power, iirc and according to the posts above. The power says that T&L use Battle Fury and can use EW. There is no choice given with the BF part.

It's all in the actions, my friend... all in the actions

I still donīt agree, if they posses the power then it would be coherent.
As it is it only contradicts itself (can use vs non optional).

ok, if you donīt like my point then Iīm goint to ask about the 5th clic of T&L where they have the mandatory MIGHT AND MISCHIEF with the non optional exploit weakness (if they use a close combat action as you explained) and they also have "DESTRUCTION AND DECEIT: Thor and Loki can use Quake and Outwit".
You telling me that I canīt use quake cause Iīm obligued to use exploit weakness if the action assigned is a close combat action?

"Not liking" something has jack-all to do with the way the rules work. They are what they are. If I only used rules I liked, Giants would still be adjacent two squares away for movement purposes
That aside, perhaps these other posts (immediately following your last one) help?

MIGHT AND MISCHIEF: (non-optional) Thor and Loki uses Battle Fury and can use Exploit Weakness
Is this what you guys mean?
So how must we understand the use of the word USE in heroclix this time?
Is there another dictionary to understand heroclix that I must read?
Really... I apreciatte your effort guys, I really do.
But it would save us TONS of time and effort to understand this game if the ones that write the texts in HC stop inventing new meanings to a word.

It isn't how they word 'use' is defined; in this case it is the word 'can'.
As in "you can do this, if you want".
The first part, with Battle Fury, is simply, "Thor and Loki uses Battle Fury..." No "can" so there is no choice. If MIGHT AND MISCHIEF was optional, the whole power could be canceled to get around Battle Fury, but since it is not, you have no choice but to use Battle Fury.

I really donīt understand this expression normalview.

Maybe you missunderstood what I said.
I asked about the non optional part for EW and you told me about the actions, everything is in the actions.
I agree, good point.
So I provide the same question but with the 5th clic of the same fig.
T&L non optional EW and quake in the same clic.
Both are close combat actions.
If the action is the key, as you quoted yourself, then at the declaration of the close combat action then ew would be the mandatory one.
This is what Iīm asking about.

Most SP's say that a figure CAN use a power. In this one, it says that T&L USE BF; not that they can use. It then goes on to say that they CAN USE EW. When an SP says a fig uses a power than it uses it all the time. When it says that the fig can use a power then there is an option whether to use the power or not.
This same reasoning is why T&L can choose to use EW, Quake or neither power on the 5th click.
I really donīt understand this expression normalview.

"Nothing". It means "nothing". Normally, you would use something much less polite (not to mention, ban-worthy) in place of "jack", but the feeling is still there I apologize for using a slang term you were not familiar with.

I didn't misunderstand anything. Or at least, I don't believe I did... honestly, maybe language is a factor. At any rate, please see my last post.

donīt worry, I ask you cause I feel I trust you enough to give me a decent answer even one regarding slang

Hablas espaņol? that would help a lot!!!!!
I think I understand what you mean guys (normalview and heroguy).
Thanks for your answers, I still believe it would be much more easier to understand with a posses instead of a use, but in any case I can see what you meant.
