You know one of the things I really enjoy about Clix is the player base. I saw how many people give extras away and can attest to that myself. I think just about everyone at my venue has no issues dumping doubles on any person who might potentially be interested in the game just to get them involved. Frankly I've tried Magic , Hordes, Warhammer and you just dont' get people giving you figures to help you get started. Hell have you ever tried to get a freebee off a Magic player......Hell I'm only still in the game because of this kindness, had to sell my entire collection a year ago and since them my venue has been kind enough to dump a bunch of extras on me just to help me start a collection again.

If I ever buy enough to have extras, I have a tiny tea party with them.

First priority is trading to finish off the set.

After that, I set the SRs aside for future trades or sale. The CURs either find good homes or end up in the closet.

I keep mine. I use them to mod for other games. I've given them away at Halloween, Give them to new players I hope to get in to the game. Give them to my comic liking friends who just want a character or two for their desks.

Oh, and if I have something someone needs for a trade, I use them for that too

90% of the time i give my extras away. unless they are my fav comic charters or generics, in that case the extra either go on my desk or i usually have all my teams built in advanced and if im usin a charater (ie captan america) the extras are packed w/ the teams so i wont have to remember to transfer the fig between boxes

I use to give them to who ever but now that I lead a after school program where one of the classes they can choose is heroclix I not only have been using.all my extras to teach them but some very.nice.realmers have sent me a whole bunch for them.

I sell or trade 'em until they have next to no value, then I give them away.

I also keep plenty for conversions/mods.

Over the last 7 years Ive done it all. I generally will try to trade them as quick as possible for each new set release to complete my sets which immediately warrants a sale here or online to recoop my case buying habits. I now have, literally, a large green Rubbermaid tub of clix from all sets! So now that I cant sell them, Ive recooped and modded about as much as I can think of...I just give them away in small teams to get people to play a game or two.

This poll could seriously use a Trade option, a Mod option, and the ability to select multiple responses.

I think I do what most people do. I trade the rare ones, horde the generics, and give away the commons.

I usually keep them since most people already have what I get extras of not to mention its kinda nice having extras just in case you need them for some reason.
