Avengers Turn 4 A

"Thor!" Janet was taken aback as Thor was knocked back by the intruder's heavy blow. Her plan to sneak up and bust out a wall to go around the enemies force shield was not going well, it seems.

"Worry not, Janet. I have taken worse." Thor said as he rose up from the floor. "At least now we have someone to test our mettle against. And test it I shall."

"Which is playing exactly into Kang's hands." replied Black Panther. "Cap is also testing the other warrior's mettle against us."

"My sensors are telling me that the Bowman in readying himself for another attack. I had better make myself scarce. If his arrows can affect Thor, I'm sure they can affect me." thought Iron Man.

"I thought you said that undersea warrior could handle Thor!" Kang shouted as he slammed his fist against the table, watching the screen as the Black Knight cut down Aquaman.

"You misunderstood me Kang." said the mesmerized Captain America. "I said he had the potential to be. The way you use utilize him in this scheme he will never be the one-on-one equal to Thor."

"With the Bowman there, he does have to be!" replied Kang gleefully.

"Yes, but the Bowman may not always hit. My team of Avengers are relatively early in their careers, what if you face a team that can bring both power and experience to bear against you?" asked the Captain. "What then?"

"That is why I have you, my good Captain. I already know this team's strength's and weaknesses and can plan accordinly. Randomness like terrian can be factored out by picking where and when to engage the enemy. I want to to drill my troops until they fight like the Avengers, like the well oiled machine they are." responded Kang.

"That can never happen, Kang ,which the bunch of Random people you have assembled." Cap said as he shook his head trying hard to resist telling Kang.

"And why is that, noble Captain? You know resistance is futile." Kang smiled under his face plate."

"Because we are all friends at the core. Tony, Thor, Jan, Hank and I care about each other first and foremost...that what makes us a good team. Yes, every person on your team has a job and is a cog in a machine, but do any of those cogs hang out with each other after the mission is done? Is Black Cat seeing anyone on the team? Did you ever try and teach a God of Thunder how to play poker on Poker night and then be amazed when he plays you the next week and cleans everyone out? These are the things I mean." This was is regard to my FLE team where Cheetah rolled a 1,2=3 in 2 straight games whe the game could have swung either way. I hope Iron Man does not continue the trend here.
