- I'd probably put the Rumble match this year in the list of top five Rumbles in WWE history
Lets see if I'm close:
In no particular order
*Ric Flair comes enters at #3 and wins the Rumble {1992}
*Maven Dropkicks the Undertaker out of the ring (...and never makes it back to the ring as Taker beats the snot outta him) {2002}
* Stone Cold throws out everyone that comes in. Sits there looking at wrist.{1997?}
*Rey Myserio enters at #2 to win the Rumble {2006}
*Chris Benoit comes in at #1 to win the Rumble {2004}
Oh? Those are MY favorite Rumble Moments? Thats right!
I liked when Big John Stud won it. You get tired of it being McMahon's fair haired boys who always win.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
Benoit winning.
Austin's checking his watch victory.
Yokozuna's `93 win. One of two "big men" to actually win the damn thing.
Wasn't a fan of Flair winning, but I did like Sid tossing Hogan.
This year's was good. As pointed out, there never was a moment when the ring was even half full and there were many quick eliminations. Remember when it was every two minutes someone came in?

I wonder if Edge and Christian might hook back up soon?

It would be fun to have a match with Taker, Kane, Edge, and Christian all in the ring together. Whether it is a "brothers" team up, or brother vs brother, I don't know.

I wouldn't expect that to happen until after Wrestlemania. Maybe not even then. Like if Edge wins whichever title he goes after, while Christian wins Money in the Bank, they could end up feuding.
Let me set this up for you:
Smackdown Chamber
*Taker
*R. Truth
*Jericho
*C.M. Punk
*Morrison
*Mysteio
OK so we're assuming Michaels/Taker IS gonna happen at Mania. Just saw a LOCAL ad for March 30th at Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas with Taker and Batista as the MAIN EVENT FOR THE TITLE! So that would mean that Taker would have to retain at Mania AND Chamber OR Batista would have to win somwhere in the next 49 days. Intresting..........
Yeah, you can rarely ever go by the advertised matches for house shows. I stand by my idea that Michaels is going to cost Taker in the chamber, likely resulting in Jericho winning the title and Edge will choose him for Mania.

I had that same scenario in mind to get to Michaels/Taker II. Jericho will get the belt around his waist as he has been putting a lot of people over in recent months. I also think that the McMahon/Hart deal will turn into a Cena/Batista as representatives type of thing where McMahon tries to get involved and Hart gets his revenge. There will be some kind of high stakes gimmick to sell it; kind of like the Trump/McMahon deal.
Wrestlemania card looks like this to me:
Taker/Michaels
Cena/Batista with McMahon/Hart subplot
HHH/Sheamus
Orton/Dibiase with Rhodes in the mix somehow
Edge/Jericho
MVP/Miz
Random Women's match

That's more or less how it 's looking to me, with a few minor changes and additions...
- There's a rumor floating around that CM Punk and Rey could have a hair vs. mask match for Wrestlemania.
- Orton/Dibiase could easily be a triple threat with Rhodes involved.
- If Miz and Show win the tag titles on Monday, I could see them defending them against MVP & Mark Henry. Though if I had my way, there'd be a Tag Team Turmoil match with them, Cryme Tyme, The Hart Dynasty and Croft & Barreta.
- Money in the Bank with Kofi, Morrison, Christian, Shelton, Hardy, Bourne, MacIntyre and Ziggler.

March 30th (a Tuesday) is a Friday night Smackdown taping. So Its not a "dark" match.

Could be one of those "dark" main events they do now. Where they have the show end however it ends, then they have a big match between the top guys just to give the crowd something a little extra. Regardless, those are as subject to change as any other show.
The last several times we've had WWE here in town (RAW and Smackdown tapings) the advertised "Main Event" didn't resemble what was actually on the show. In fact, in both cases at least one of the advertised participants wasn't on the show.
