Wow, I love all the maps you have put up so far.
You have got to tell us how you made the big floating clock on your watchmen map.
I also use Dundjinni and what I can't figure out is how you (and many other mappers) keep your floors from looking tiled. I love Dundjinni but I have problems with the textures.

Thanks for the compliments!
The clock is made of a few components all blended, recolored, joined and made transparent in Paintshop Pro: a compass off Dundjinni, some clockworks imagery I purchased from a stock photo vendor, the rotating gears I made in Google SketchUp7.
Since part of the clockwork base itself was purchased thru a stock photo company (I believe it cost me $3 online) the IP agreement is a million pages of legalese of what I can and can't do with the imagery and how I can and can't reproduce it for sale. This is one of the reasons I'm not openly distributing my maps by email and only privately printing them at cost at Kinkos for myself and family.
Honestly, I was surprised at how well it came out.
There are two reasons why I use Dundjinni. One it naturally tiles for me and the second is that it applies the gridwork easily. If I could easily do the gridwork in PSP, I'd only use dundjinni for flooring and all the cover and objects in PSP then layer the gridwork on last.
All of the floor blending I do post Dundjinni in PSP; which muffs up the grid, then I fix the grid. This takes forever, but it's the only way I know how.
As far as seemless tiling goes, I'm relying a lot on what is avaible on Dundjinni and use only textures where there are atleast 4 variations. If some element repeats awkwardly I tend to clean things up using the Clone Brush function of PSP. I may download 15 green textures and then try all fifteen out before I settle on the one I use.
Up on my map blog is a new map for your perusal... Mission Abort!
Inspired by my love of the old Gardner Fox & Gil Kane Atom stories, my hatred of Damien Wayne and the lovable mjts who posted this about me.
