They've come a long way from the SPs that hurt you to use them (Parasite, Taskmaster, Red Skull, Iron Man).
It seems the latest in design is "pick a power" - Nico, Hal & Barry and now Gizmo has it.
Do we suspect Gizmo has a second sculpt in B&tB? Why not just call him Gizmo?
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

nah don't think so....I suspect it has to do with Gremlins character being trademarked...??? who knows? maybe Gizmo is one of the LE (that would be the first time that Uncommon to have a LE, instead of Common - Gorilla Grodd, Henchman, Riddler, Two Face, all common have LEs of each)
Good news - YAHAHHHH Finally another Fearsome Five...
Bad news - ugly sculpture! paint terrible! huh? and he's dead period. He just is "re-animated" with the aid of nanotech, thanks to Kilg%re tech, thus keeping him "alive". and I sure wish that the sculpture include the hooded one that s when he wore when he was with Shimmer (with red perms) and Mammoth (clean looking - not shaggy and bearded).
He has a trait that prevents him from carrying anyone...hmmm I hope that it will apply soon in the near future (Wasp, Yellow Jacket, and Ant Man, I am really really looking to you all!).
Special Powers....I hold my judgment until I actually use him on the board.
Hmmm....not sure why the "can't carry anyone" would apply to Yellow Jacket and Wasp. It is established that they maintain their normal levels of strength when they shrink. Even if they don't have super strength they are nearly "peak humans" and can certainly carry around one person.
Little Gizmo there certainly doesn't look like the sort of person who could carry another person.
May all your hits be crits!
On the whole, human beings want to be good — but not too good, and not quite all the time. - George Orwell
Imagine putting him next to LG: U Ares and giving Ares Hypersonic Speed!
12 movement with Phasing/Teleport (and now Hypersonic Speed) 14 attack with Super Strength, 19 Defense with Impervious, and 5 damage with Outwit!! He could hit in one turn for up to 8 damage with little chance of missing! Even if it's just for one attack, it could tilt the odds of the game.
KC Green Lantern? OR: U Superman? The possiblities are endless!!!
EDIT: Nevermind...I missed the word "attack" in "choose a standard attack power"

How much can you take, and keep moving forward?
The Green Lantern Corps is DC's version of the US Marine Corps.

Hmm I did not know that Wasp and YJ can do that....I cannot imagine that they can carry Hulk, Thor, Thing, or Ulik...that's new to me.

HSS isn't a 'standard attack power.' Its a movement power.
This is probably the LE Gizmo that they are showing us.
The figure looks like a prototype and not the finished product.
The figure base may be for display as well.
don't think that it s for display because the base showed the green tab and Gizmo is #24 which is Uncommon. If it is a LE, then the # would be somewhere between #100 to #105...with a copper/bronze tab.

You do realize that HSS is a not an attack () power dont you.
Your choices are....
Blades
Incap
EE
PW
Quake
Super Strength
PsyBlast
Steal Energy
TK
Poison
and Smoke Cloud

I ll take those following attacks: EE, PW, PsyBlast, TK...know why? Shimmer and Mammoth has +2 special power..and once they are adjacent to Gizmo and his Special Power activates! Shimmer can TK Mammoth and then Mammoth charges and smashes anyone whoo whoo.
I'd bet that there will be a 2nd Gizmo in the set.
Heads will roll if this is the case. I try to justify (in my head) the fact that we're getting Inertia AND Kid zoom in the same set since we got two scarlet wtiches and quicksilvers back in Avengers, though those at least had different sculpts and were from two different universes altogether. Im praying that Bart Allen's clone will be the only figure like this in the set, outside of the repainted LEs.
