On the topic of wolfsbane, there is no reason to push her, just have an xmen nearby so she can use the team ability. My favorite is to use cyclops first turn and then shoot again on the second turn, healing him with wolfsbane, putting her into the 10 10 15 2 bcf stats. Then, if you are so bold you can levitate her with jean grey and have her attack next turn, or fly her in with rouge so that rouge may charge with the attack and rouge can heal wolfsbane when she pushes, since rouge has steal energy.
If Thor (T) wants to attack Henchman (H) who is behind Black Panther who is in hindering terrain (BP)..
T..BP.H
Thor wouldn't be able to draw a line of fire to Henchman right? I believe so because BP causes line of sight to H as blocked. BP in hindering terrain even adds to the fact that it becomes "blocking terrain" and thus, no LoF to BP as well.
But what's the difference in Pulse Wave? Why would it go through BP (who is unharmed) but will hit H anyway? I thought LoF will still be blocked?
oh yeah... but how about the drawing of LoF to the stealthed Panther... doesn't his power make LoF as it it draws a line to blocking terrain?
Or does a steath-made hindering terrain to "blocking terrain" not hinder pulsewave at all?
Sorry if my question is a bit confusing. It's just that I thought since BP's stealth makes LoF to him as if it were going through Blocking Terrain, then maybe he would be like a single "barrier" that blocks the pulse wave (or any attack) to the Henchman a few spaces behind him.
If you read the Stealth power's PAC entry, you'll note that it refers only to Lines of Fire which are drawn to this character. If LOF isn't being drawn directly to the Stealth character, then Stealth has no effect and the figure is treated just like any other.
Thanks for that clarification! I always thought Stealth fig in hindering terrain would have acted as a pseudo barrier against enemies on rooftops and the like.
eh, no worries. I wasn't actually using pulse wave. I had a bye so the two of us were discussing strategems and the like. I brought up the pulsewave to perfection(tm), and he said you needed an opponent to activate it. I'll bring it up next time I see him. Maybe he's seen something we haven't, or maybe he just misinterpereted something. He's a good guy.
