I agree with Nightmaster..i don't like the Runaways either. Stupid Gertie is the Sr i got in my brick...and seth. Worthless.

All you people who loathe the Runaways, feel free to send them along. My local comic store doesn't stock the comics and sold out of HoT before I could complete my collection of them in either medium, so I can always use more.

But yeah, anywho, back on topic: I thought they meant give Zzzax Passenger, and use him to carry them around that way.

Worthless? Gertrude and Old Lace are hardly a useless figure.

In a 300 point game, the Runaways have great synergy and work well together.

He's a giant, which means he can carry people. That is what he meant.

And I'm jealous. I pulled a Kurse and actually would have rather pulled Gert. I had to buy her separately.

I love Ulik and the Rock Trolls (now I want to mod a bunch of them with instruments to be a heavy metal band Ulik and the Rock Trolls!!!)

When I first saw the trolls I thought they would be terrible with those vanilla dials and low defense numbers, but they kick some serious ASSgard!

I think my little Rock Trolls usually end up dishing out more damage than their master.

They play pretty well with the other evil asgardians as well. Surtur, Fenris, and Malekith can all carry them (and use them for meat-shields) and malekith and Enchantress can TK them up from there. They make a great front-line.


I've rather enjoyed most of the Runaways comics that I've read. Brian K. Vaugn is a great writer and his initial Runaways mini was lots of fun. I don't think I've read anything since Joss Whedon wrote a story-arc, but that too was a very fun read. If I had the money to buy more comics then Runaways would be one of the few Marvel titles that I would buy.
As clix they annoy me though:
1) Gert and Old Lace as a SR (did I mention that I'm poor)
2) Nico's sculpt is freaking fugly (HC is a visual game and that sort of thing does matter to me)
3) Chase never had the Leapfrog and the Fistigons at the same time, that his dial reflects both bothers me. (Actually that it represents the Leapfrog at all bothers me; that's like giving Batman a Batmobile power. It's a big freaking vehicle, not something that he pulls out of his back-pocket.)

1) Ditto
2) Nico is a lot better if you reposition her head. She is supposed to be facing her staff. Snap her head off, make her look in the proper direction and her sculpt is 100% improved.
3) Chase actually did have them both at the same time in more recent issues. He gets the Fistigons back after a little bit of time traveling.

Holy junk, I completely forgot about that with Giants! I never use them, so i don't look them up much.

Why does everyone hate on Seth? that figure is waaaaayyy under rated... anyway i do love the Rock trolls! they are fun.

I just can't find the Giant rules anywhere, and have been using the old version all this time. Anybody got a link for the newer Giant rules?

Ah, like I said, I haven't read the more recent stuff. Does Gert come back too?

I'd love to get a Seth, if anyone doesn't want theirs i'd be happy to take it off their hands. (I'll even provide a modest amount of monetary compensation.)

most likely cause no knows who he is much like the runaways. And no, wikipedia or watching the movie doesn't make you knowledgable about the character(s)either.
