I think the only truly "broken" figure is Infinity Challenge Firelord (vet). Come on! 13 attack RCE, and 18 defense...and only 97 points????
I have no prob with OoTS Bats. He is a nasty piece to have to face, but he can be taken down.
Part of the fun of this game is predicting what your opponents will play so that you can counter it. VERY hard if your going to one of the big tourneys at a convention, but easy at your local venue.
Ok....it's not "EASY".....you may take some lumps along the way.
At this point you need to realize powers like stealth are here to stay whether you like it or not. You can cry and pound your fists or you can say "man I hate stealth, how can I deal with it so it is not an issue for me?" Personally I dislike HSS a great deal. So I will try to build my team to deal with it, usually without resorting to it myself. I can't wait for Kid Zoom btw
I like Stealth. I think it brings something good to the game, and I would rather not to see it on figures we see today. Taking Stealth from figures like Batman, would be like taking L/C from Spider-Man. Is fitting and is pretty cool.
I still think characters should ignore their own Stealth, and that you should be able to draw a LOF to Stealth targets if youre adjacent to them, but that is it.
...TAs and feats and special powers and HSS and Charge + Super Strength with a heavy object and Force Blast and regular close combat attacks counter stealth.
Stealth is only powerful because it avoids outwit. It's only an issue because Outwit is terribly broken.
Stealth+Willpower= Powers Cosmic!!!

Don't complain if you only brought rock with your army!
Great points, they said it better then I could, both get my rep. If you do not like stealth, find ways to counter it, like using characters with Ultimates TA and Wildcards as one example.

so heres my real post, now that i thought about it;
there are many ways to counter stealth since the advent of special powers (and there are plenty of TA's out there, as well a feat card)
i understand the frustration of not being able to outwit someone next to you, but really if you cant see them, how are you suppose to defuse their ability to not be able to see them?
also, its easier to teach and learn the game when rulings like this are consistant. this isnt comic books, this is a game, so the mechanics have to be equal and consistent throughout.
if this were the comics; the heroes would always win, then my bat enemy team would be useless.
instead of complaining to the hireups on "fixing" this "problem" simply LOOK at what they have provided that will allow you to counteract stealth problems.
just my $0.25 (<--- inflation)

This is not a bash at Stealth, but are you guys saying that people should play teams based entirely on what they think an opponent might play? Kinda takes the fun outta the game...
In general I have an issue with this whole thread. If people have an issue with something, right or wrong, this is the place to bring it up. You shouldn't bash people cause you disagree. Just shake your head, mention it in their thread (which I know most of you do :>) and move on. I hope thats not what this thread started out as, but it really seems like its gotten to that point. Just my thoughts.

Sometimes, yes, specially when the venue wants you to do a particular built (like 400 points and all character must have or use mind control on their first clix). If stealth is a particular problem for you then add something to your team to either counter it or have a plan to deal with it. I do not think that the rules should have a major overhaul because there are some people that cannot think of ways to deal with stealth.

aw shucks.....I thought you were gonna talk about latest news on new figures for B and B - Stealth of LEGION....
Anyway, I would love to see any LEGIONnaires to get clixed: Vril Dox, Brainiac 3, Lydea/Lyrissa Mallor, Captain Comet, Garryn Bek, Strata, Telepath, etc.
Give me he New Guy Night Superman (with his totally AWESOME Batman team ability) and put Protected on him, and I'm ok...I'm ok.
I've only used him one, but he cleaned house...we were using the Legion of Super Heroes map (my OPPONENT picked it).
How much can you take, and keep moving forward?
