"The Martian has gone invisible! Plus the Atom has possibly gone sub-atomic!" Darva exclaimed in a paniced voiced as the League advanced on their positions.

"Calm yourself. Although even our vision cannot see him, the Martian cannot hide from our other senses. As the only one of his species, he has a very distinct odor, like very ancient sand. I know exactly where he is at!" Flaxeth said. "Garreth, use the spell you just cast to hurl me toward him!"


"I think not." Garrack said, turning toward the sister. "Yes, you may get a good hit in on the Martian, but half of the League can attack you from there. No, dear Flaxeth. Aquaman and his allies must come to us do deal with this situation your father created. But don't worry, battle will be here soon enough!

This is one of those slow-burning fuse games where there's a lot of jockying for position, and then when it finally breaks it EXPLODES. It's gonna get intense once the attacks start coming in...

Aquaman twisted the handgrip of his trident and the prongs lengthened and spread wide. A small crackle of electrical current ran up their length.

"We meet you in battle with honor," he shouted to his opponents, offering the official greeting for the challenge. "And recognize your right for blood."

"What's that mean?" Power Girl whispered.

"It means that this fight is not just some sparring match," he frowned at her. "When they attack, they'll be willing to draw blood, and it will be allowed. We will all be doing everything in our power to win, short of killing an opponent."

"So... we don't have to hold anything back?" she asked, arching a brow with a smirk.

"And neither will they."

"Sweet," her grin widened.

"Well played, King Orin." Garrack muttered under his breath. "Now the initiative is yours-for now."

"What do you mean, Garrack?" said Flaxeth. "Now with roll over them like the tide!"

"Fool! This about more than petty violence toward surface dwellers or you and your sister's duel." Garrack face twisted in a grimace. Vulko has a better intelligence network than I give him credit for. He has briefed the King well-or Orin had a lucky guess. Either way, it was too late to back out now.

1) Free Garrack needed to grab control before the girls broke this situation wide open. Roll is a 6 as he uses mild hypnosis to calm to girls.

2) "Darva, contain the robot!" "With pleasure, Garrack!" Pulling out twin laser pistols, Darva ran up to N-14.

3) Free "This will stop you, you mockery of life!" Throwing a switch on a control panel, a panel slid open on the ceiling and a powerful magnetic force activated, pulling Reddy to the ceiling against his will! A.K.A. Darva will Outwit Reddy's TK.

4) Koyhan will move up to O-15.

5) "Flaxeth, it occurs to me you might prove useful after all." It is time you prove yourself in combat." Garrack said this as he cast the Levitation spell that would hurl her across the deck toward the enemy. She landed at M-15.

6) Free "Here, take this vial of phosphoros-it will help against the alien." said Koyhan as Flaxeth was about to run up." a.k.a. Koyhan will Perplex up Flaxeth's AV by 1.

7) "Yes! I shall pummel him until he is no more." So saying, Flaxeth grabbed a chair (LO) from O-15 and Charged up to L-17. A 9(+1) to a 16(+1). 3,4=7 for a hit for 3 +1- 2 for Invunerability=2 clixs altogether as Koyhan's vial causes J'onn's to ignite and burn.

8) Free Kinlath will advance up to P-16.

One quick correction: Manhunter would take 1 click of damage, not 2 (3 damage - 2 Invulnerability = 1).

Flaxeth has 3 damage to start. I clearly stated she grabbed a LO at O-15 which is where she got a (+1) from. I destroyed the LO on the map and the recap. Thus, after Invun, J'onn takes 2 clixs.

Champions of Jundsea Turn 4:

"Sister!" Bannurn's chisled face was broken by concern. "Poseidon be damned! I don't care which of us becaomes queen if it costs you your life. If that Amazonian witch has hurt her..."

"Calm yourself, Bannurn. Flaxeth is tough. Besides, despite what the King said, the Justice League does not draw blood. The Amazon and the other femal may be brawlers as well as the King, but the others aren't." Garrack smiled and he looked like a shark about to devour his prey. "The King fails to realize this is being broadcast live in Atlantis. The more brutal the League gets, the better it looks for us!"

"I will not stand by will my sister is being slaughtered like so much bait." Bannurn fairly shook with fury.

"I never said you had to." Garrack smiled widened, if that was possible. "Go get them."

2) Garrack will use his Levitation spell to hurl Bannurn to J-15. No pushing Damage due to Willpower.

3) "For all of your power, Bannurn, you will require assistance." Darva will move to K-14. No pushing Damage due to Willpower."

4) Free "Wonder Woman strength and durabilty comes from her connection to Mother Gaia herself-but she is now is Father Poseideon realm, and he revoke his grandmother's gift!" Pulling out a dagger from her tunic, Darva made a slashing motion at Diana! a.ka. Darva will Outwit Wonder Woman's Impervious.

5) Free "Just in case, I'll activate the stasis ray and shoot her with it. It will only affect her for a couple of seconds, but it should allow you to hit her more effectively." Koyhan says a.k.a. Koyhan will Perplex up Bannurn's Attack by 1.

6) "For Atlantis! For Flaxeth!" With Wonder Woman reeling, Bannurn flew in for the attack, Charging to J-17! A 10 (+1) to a 17. 1,5=6 for barely a hit as the blend of magic and technology are too much for Diana and she falters. 3 +2 for the HO=5 clixs straight through as Bannurn viciously buries the Amazon with the piece of heavy machinery she had grabbed earlier.

7) "Now's my chance to study the alien up close." Koyhan will Charge to M-17 and try to get a sample of Martian tissue! A 10 to a 16. 3,6=9 for a hit for 2 clixs -1 for Toughness =1 clix total. No push due to Willpower.

Just popping in to say I'll post tomorrow. Got farther behind on work after losing the weekend than I expected, and can't take the time out tonight. I'll be in tomorrow, though, so I'll get back to clicking then.

Man, I feel bad I don't have time to story post this. You're doing great with yours and I'm loving it, I'm just always so dang short on time... This is a great game. I knew the intensity would hit all at once!

Bannurn looked as the Manhunter put her sister down. "As thus is the trap truly sprung, my king." she said as he engaged her. "Or had you forgotten that this was going out live to the Atlantean people? Imagine how commentators like B'tRush B'TLimbaugh or Kon' Glenn DethBeck will spin it. An innocent girl, only wanting to serve her country, trying to fill the seat of a beloved Queen while an Absentee King is gone, is mercilessly beaten down by the League while said King watches! Your kindom will be in ruins before this fight is over!" she whispered so only Aquaman could hear. "Of course, there is a solution. Let me "get revenge" by beating your Amazion sow senseless, we rampage all over this oil rig as we win this honor duel, and you crown me Queen of Atlantis! I may even let you out once in while to save the world with your friends, as long as the Amazon goes back to her island crying for her mama!" Arthur shook with rage.

"I can hear you, you know. Super hearing." said Diana as she went for her doppleganger, but Bannurn ducked Diana's kick.

"I know." Bannurn smiled as she whispered it."

"This was never supposed to be personal," Aquaman said through gritted teeth. "I'm trying to prevent a war that will destroy our people and theirs. But you had to cross the line and make me enjoy doing this..."

He slashed her torso with the blades of his trident, forcing her to fall back. She raised up a shield of shimmering energy, but a blast from J'Onn's laser vision destroyed her shield projector. She shouted a curse at the Martian, turning her head back just in time to see King Orin's gloved fist flying at her.

He held nothing back, and the punch lifted her off of her feet. She flew several feet away before crumpling to the deck.

"I've told you before that I am more than capable of defending myself from people like that," Diana said, having caught her breath and readied herself for the next wave of opponents. "I don't appreciate that kind of display on my behalf."

"That wasn't about you," he said. "I'm not that shallow. It was about politics. I hate politics."

"You hate that she was right."

He shot her a glare that softened only slightly when he caught himself.

"...Yes."

"Garrack! Bannurn is down!" Darva looked over her shoulder as Aquaman finished her off.

"I can see that. And so did Atlantis." Garrack smiled as he looked at the Sea King standing next to Wonder Woman, looking determined as he laid Bannurn out. "I can see just fine."

"But the battle..." Darva wavered as Power Girl began to look her way.

"This battle was never about this place, Darva and you know it. We will take our lumps from the League, but the picture of the King standing over an innocent Atlantean girl who was just trying to prove her love and loyality? And he punches her out with the help of a foriegner? We may get beaten up bodily by the League, but every blow brings us new supporters for a Queen to fill the throne! And one of those girls will be that Queen!"

"I forgot the overall plan, Garrack." said Darva. "I will do my part."

2) Garrack will try to pull Darva out of harm's way. Roll is 2 as his concentration is elsewhere.

3) Darva will try hitting the Atom herself. A 10 to a 19. 5,4=9 for the hit for 2 clixs as her double shooting pistols graze the Atom and cause 2 clixs to him.

4) Free The shot must have hurt Ray Palmer more than she thought as he grows to full size, the belt around him shorting out. a.k.a. Darva will Outwit Atom's CCE.
