Botar was the either the Spanish or French (can't remember) word for pounce on the back of the original Mutant Mayhem Pounce card. For some reason the English speakers started using it (at least at the venue I played at, they did).

Thanks for the info (Spanish word for sure, this isn't French).
No Duo can be carried, No Trait can be outwitted, and I am not sure about the TBolt thing, but TBolting to Crossgen/Arachnos might be a better option (since they are technically different TA's with the exact same function.
Also, someone posted in the Units section to add Camo, Damage Shield, and Armor Piercing so the opponant would take 3 retaliation damage from up close (with Mystics, Arachnos, DS/AP).
Technically Gertrude Yorkes and Old Lace is a duo that can be carried by Chase Stein, but that is the specific exception to the rule.
Are we really to the point where we have to list every single exception each time we make a comment? Chase Stein/Gert and Old Lace is the only exception to the rule of Duo's being carried at this moment, and it specifically says it in his power. He can also carry fliers with the Runaways keyword, and those are the only fliers that can be carried (here's hoping Raven gets remade to carry the entire Teen Titans into battle).
I just noticed that the team you want to play can't be done.
Thor and Loki 362
valkerye x 2= 76
feats(10%)= 50
total = 488
You can still play it, you will just be 12 points short. Also 50 of feats on one charector
is a lot. You may want to consider adding another fig.

This is a good point.
I'd add an Asg Warrior to leave you with 25pts for feats and then feat with Camo, Protected, Inside Info, and T-bolts (don't auto use Arachnos, it might be better to pick Bats/Supes TA or something else depending on the situation).

Just to clarify, this statement is true- but if the trait specifies that a power is possessed, then that power can be outwitted. Currently, I believe that there is only one exception (Namora's trait), but I believe the principle is important enough (and easy enough to get confused on) to point out.
Again, I am not seeing any reason you couldn't T-Bolt to Archnos/Crossgen...
its just the crooked judges trying to stop badass strategies, see some judges want their friends to win so when someone truly skilled comes up with a good strategy, they say it can't be done.

Considering the "strategy" this is in reference to, that was frickin' hilarious.

it is spanish.
but... for pounce???
Botar means to bounce or to throw away, not to pounce
or maybe BOTAR = Best Option To Attack Robots

Well, they did change it to "Salto" when they reprinted it in Origin. Not sure how much better a translation that might be as I haven't taken a Spanish class in 20 years. Of course, salto doesn't quite roll of the tongue like botar does either.
