"Your point?" Batman said irritably.

"Why are you being cranky? I'm the one that just got hit," the Beast pointed out.

"Iron. The faerie are especially vulnerable to iron," Terrific continued.

Batman grunted in acknowledgement and found an appropriate batarang in his utility belt. With a flick of the wrist, he sent it whirring at Malekith. The pointed tip lodged itself in the elf's side. Malekith shrieked - an ungodly sound. Frantically he scrabbled to get the weapon out, but the touch of it burned his hand as he tried to grab it, so he was unable to get a firm enough grip to pull it out. At last, he dropped to his knees, and then collapsed entirely.

"Well I didn't expect that kind of a production," Mr. Terrific admitted, "but it's gratifying to know that there's some accuracy in those old legends."

Ouch. I misused Malekith to be sure but I got a fun moment out of it.

Did I mention Saturn Girl goes Mystic? She does.

"I will..." Mr. Terrific says. Despite his mind being controlled his t-sphere's are working for him. They zap Karma only to be intercepted by the Stephord Cuckoos who push X'ian out of the way.

"Nasty things," Phoebe says.

"We have you, Karma," says Mindee.

"And we won't let those nasty things hurt you again," Celeste adds.

"Ummmm...thank you," Karma replies a bit overwhelmed by the odd girls.

Isn't that a wall in front of Karma? I mean I know ultimately it was a miss and all, but for future reference. That'll make a difference with the rest of the game.

This is a tricky map. There's a lot of different stuff on it. Rooms, elevated platforms, hindering, even blocking terrain.

I meant that between OPQ20 and 21, that looks like a wall to me. I'm seeing O-Q21-23 as a room, with some hindering terrain in it.

I'll let you call it though. If you want to say it's open - just hindering that's fine. However, one more issue:

Celeste can't do that yet - she just got carried, and can't take an action after that. She'll have to wait for next turn.

For that matter OPQ20 & 21 do look like a wall---so Karma couldn't attack. So her attack was invalid (a miss anyway). She'll move to N21 instead.

Do we feel that the brown bordered squares are elevated like where Bats is?

The L-Shaped thing where Batman is would be elevated, as would the area F-K19-20, the triangular thing in R-T19-21 and the corresponding area in the opposite corner. They all have ladders or stairs leading up to them. The car in H-I15-17 almost looks like it should be considered blocking, given the brown-colored border around it, but that seems kind of strange. I'd say let's treat it as hindering.

Now Karma, is she N21 as you say, or O23 as she appears on the map. Could make a big difference on my turn, considering how much more open the former position is.

I'm having some trouble "getting" this game. Just don't seem to be able to come up with any kind of strategy.

Well here's one. Wizard TKs Sivana to E11. Sivana uses a token to make Terrific's range 9 and Perplexes it further up to 10.

Wizard and Beast make his Damage 4.

Terrific on Karma. AV10 on DV15 +1. Gets 5. Oh, fine.
