there should be a way for the players' wishes to be represented. i just read all the 'trait' threads, (use vs. posses) and i think this is petty and infuriating. if enough players think a ruling is stupid, we should be able to overturn it. we're buying these heroclix, we're paying the designers' paychecks. if everyone thinks a rule sucks, then pay attention to us.
I know. Use the rules at your home games, with your friends (assuming you're all in agreement).
In the meantime, while WK/N owns the rights to produce and distribute the game, they have the right to create and print the rules as they see fit. They also have the right to print any errata they feel works with the game. They also have the right to listen and take in to consideration, or outright ignore any suggestions put forward by their players who buy the game.

In truth, you do have a way. Stop buying the product. If enough people do that, then you can make up any new rules you like.
I am in awe of the cool and awesome people here on HCR!
one of the biggest problems my friend always complains about is simply "consistency" if the rulings are consistent with the wording provided in the rule book, then he is ok with it.
dispite the wonky wording when it comes to things like "traits" and "feats" the ruling IS consistent.
it can be true that "Thor and Loki can use Invulnerability" is specifically designed so that their damage reducers cannot be outwitted (and thusly factored into their point cost [theoretically])
the same can be said about Bat-arrow (cuz green-man sounds weird) "Batman and Green Arrow posses the sharpshooter ability" is factored into point cost in that it can be outwitted. the way GD wants it to play is as if they had on their dial.
they already have on their dial, so they cant have it seems really simple...
like it was said in the other thread this "possess vs. can use" arguement has been in place for ever.
allowing bat-arrow to be unoutwittable is making them undercosted. while your at it, allow them to be carried!
