His new name is TheReginald. However, his or her feedback is 2, at 100%, so who knows if this person has changed or not???

I didn't want to risk it, so I recalled my package and sent him a message saying the deal was off. Reformed or not, he isn't dealing with me again.

According to the rules of the forums you aren't supposed to use symbols to represent swears, and yet I see them popping up regularly with no repercussions. Odd.


Censored Words -
No profanity allowed. Our word filter blocks most profanity, but there are some creative people out there, and some words we may have missed. If you can’t say it to your mother over polite dinner conversation, don’t say it here either.

Bypassing the word filter. If a word is in the word filter, don’t type ‘@’ for ‘a’ or ‘$’ for ‘S’ to get around it. And making up new versions of words, like using ‘ph’ for ‘f’ is equally unacceptable.
The filter is in place on purpose, please respect it.

And, just because a word is filtered doesn’t mean you can launch into a censored tirade against someone. You cannot say “Hey you #### get your #### out of your #### and #### off.”Being rude is being rude, regardless of if the words are blocked or not.

This goes the same for words not in the filter. We can’t keep up with all the slang, and frankly we try to keep the word filter to a minimum in order not to censor you. But, if you find (or go looking for) crude and inappropriate words that aren’t in our filter – you might end up with warning points. The general rule of thumb is; be polite. (see the next rule.)

Yeah same here, he/she hasn't responded back now since I called him/her on this with a P.M. and/or since this thread was posted. The deal is off... I can't believe I almost sent my figures to him/her, it's a good thing this thread was posted, thanks to all who post here on this thread.

Was that really necessary? You just did the exact thing that he did as an example. If you are that offended by symbols in the place of swear words, then you need to stay off of the internet all together because you are going to find much worse beyond this site.

No, I'm not offended, I really don't care. I am trying to make the point that sometimes mods should let stuff slide before they jump right into throwing around infraction points. Espically if the mods who are in charge of making these decisions can't even follow the rules themselves.
