Has anybody ever tried a Heroclix vs. Mage Knight vs. Horrorclix vs. Actionclix game, compatibility be damned? Maybe throw Sportsclix and Mech Warrior in for good measure? That sounds like it would be a good time.
We cross contaminate all the time at our venue. Only slight changes are made for any of the systems. For example, Batman alpha we use either as designed or use the powers shown on the dial as what the PAC shows.
For Horror clix, we use their rules, putting victim tokens on the board so they have the chance to get blooded/get bonuses. Sometimes we try them using the HC PAC just for fun (the alien pogs are nasty that way). If a HC tries to outwit a HrC, we 4-6 the chance to succeed.
For Actionclix, we limited the range; pistols at 4, rocket launchers and sniper rifles at 10, all else at 6. They respawn as they usually have no damage reducers so a hit or two then they are out. But having their respawn point as per AC rules works okay. I actually came in second with an AC team.
Mageknight is about the same as using clix from the earlier sets. After the first hit, they are weenies. But they can be fun. Again, can use them with their PAC or with HC PAC (the latter is preferred, as everyone does not have to learn a new power set for any of the pieces).

Batman Alpha figures were designed to play with Heroclix. You just use the PAC for their powers and discard the cards. They're even legal in Heroclix tournaments (Golden Age at least). Some of them are actually pretty decent in Heroclix! Why would you need to make any changes?
I've used Horrorclix in Heroclix before. The problem is that they were designed with the whole Blooded concept in mind, which really messes with the flow of the game unless you come up with some decent victim rules, or fudge Blooded. Some of the Aliens and Predators are actually pretty decent...or at least they were a few Heroclix sets ago. If WK had stuck with licensed characters and "classic" monsters (zombies, vampires, werewolves), I'd have much less issue with them just making them 100% compatible from the get-go. It'd be pretty cool to play Batman against Werewolves, Zombies, Aliens, or Predators. Batman against some of the junk in Horrorclix? Not nearly as cool.
No interest in seeing Halo figures in Heroclix. If I want to see Halo characters, I'll play Halo.
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash
I'd like to have seen wrestleclix. They could do double duty as thugs for heroclix.
Can you imagine clix for the Steiner Brothers, Road Warriors, Sid Vicious, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, the Undertaker or Sting?
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
WrestleClix! that's actually the best idea for SportsClix I ever heard. Wrestlers even have signature moves that could be Special Powers.
I love Hockey, and that would have been a lot more fun than Baseball I think!
but alas, this will never be. The only reason there were sportsclix at all is because TOPPs thinks everything should be sports-related, even superhero games.
I remember the 4 movement figure that could do like 10 damage -_-; because it had blade claws fangs on a 4 damage click, but it's actually instead of replace, it is added to the original damage value :-/ it was carrying a huge toothbrush or something
Will it have a Cadillac on a base like the Warthog and not be able to drive it without crashing into things? Or is that like Charge for that character?
Special Object: Fire Hydrant
How many "Con Artists" will you need to fill out his team?
Or would they be on the other team?
Would his wife have an Arch Enemy base?
Would he be the X-mas giveaway for Envoys next year because he just keeps going ho, ho ho?
Which would he be able to drive further? The golf ball or the Cadillac?
I'm not entirely displeased with this news. Firmly in the "meh" camp. Wasn't the active camo covenant figure a send away or something? I dunno... If its not too expensive I may pick these up just because my nephews are into Halo and it might be something they would like. Who knows...if they really enjoy the game i may end up on evil bay to pick up a case if I can find it cheap.
I love Halo, but I have no interest in Haloclix. The problem (besides just playing the video game being a better alternative) is that they make a million Spartans and neglect the aliens because they're not fan favorites. The aliens should be the army builders, not red and blue Spartans from matchmaking...
