Yeah, that was weird, wasn't it? AZS told Shel and I that it was a flash mob. Apparently people text/e-mail/post on a site that they are going to congregate in one part of the city at a specific time. They stand around for a few minutes, then suddenly disperse.

AZS mentioned that this has been happening often enough in Philadelphia to cause trouble and disturbances. We three were walking through the flash mob in the park when the sirens went off and the cops started arriving. And there I was, carrying a 30-pack of beer.

Apart from almost being trampled when all of those people ran away from the cops, I was worried that my beer was gonna be confiscated. This happened at exactly 9pm on Saturday night.

Remind me never to get in the way of you and food, in that case.
