WHAT? My God. Doom Patrol is one of the most brilliant series I've read in the last few years. It challenges me and I don't feel like I"m just going through the "Nerd" Motions.

By the way, Has anyone read Emerald warriors yet? It was really good but, I didn't know who the guy was on the last page. So could someone tell who that is.

Am I the only one here reading Batgirl? Really? I finally find a DC series to enjoy and it's one that no one else is bothering with?

Nope, I get the title. Mind you, I'm not sure that weighs in favour of things - I buy far too many comics - but I do get and enjoy it.

And here is what irks me about this friggin' book. On page 3, Monk refers to someone as being "all that". Two panels later, Doc is talking about "speakeasies".

For God's sake, will you people PLEASE settle on ONE time period and then GET IT RIGHT???? Damn...

I think that's some newer Version of Despero...the magenta Skin...the Flame of P'ytar in a sword form.

Despero was just rebuilt in R.E.B.E.L.S.

I'm aware of this but comics tend to say "#### Continuity" when it comes to things.

Dumped it once I realized Winick was co-writing and when I read an interview with him about it. After Joey Q, WInick is #2 on my comic enemies list

Just Birds of Prey for me, which is fine since I really like that book. The art is good and I'm curious as to who is after the Birds. I personally think that it's the Penguin and that it's all a setup by him. That's my theory anyway.

and as for Winnick, I don't really read anything he writes (anymore) but the things I have read in the past (Green Arrow/Black Canary, Green Arrow) I actually liked. But that may have more to do with those characters than his writing skills. Either way, I'll take Winnick over Grant Morrison and Bendis any day.

Yeah You can tell that though from the ending of the last issue of BoP and that Devious Grin on his face.
