Aren't they both Mac Gargan?

I too like this Venom. The dial is laid out nicely and Charge/Steal Energy/4 Damage in the middle of the dial is very versatile.

Both are Mac, but different incarnations. When he was masquerading as Spider-Man he was under the influence of the treatment that did different things to his body and mental state.

Awesome dial. The Psychic Blast/Penetrating+Web power, mid-dial Charge with 3-4 damage, and end-dial BCF sold me on this one. I'll take this Venom over the HoT version 90% of the time, unless I need a Thunderbolts member for a theme team.

Well, with so many Symbiote choices out of this set, I don't think it will be much of a problem to use either Macs on a team.

The WoS LE Venom dial looks sweet, but the HoT Venom is one of my favorite pieces. Feat him with Takedown, etc. and your opponent will just cry.

Yeah he was pretty much a pansy around the Molecule Man arc in DA, lol. Neat dial, does add something to the Dark Avengers, which HoT Venom doesn't w/o the keyword.

Mid to low attack and defense stats, wonder if either will be affected by an ATA, hmmmm?

Nice dial? Really 16 defense? thats low for today's figures who usually start out with at least a 10 attack. Mid dial stuff is OK if you actually get to use it.

I think there will be a Dark Avengers ATA that will make these dials even more playable but we'll see...

I like it. Looking forward to playing the dark avengers. Wish he also had the thnderbolts key word, but I understand it is a slightly different version of the same character.

Attack Numbers seem to be a little to low for my tastes up front, he seems to be great push me type of figure, but then when you get done pushing him, he gets toughness instead of SupS?!?! I would have liked to scene a SP toughness/SS his whole dial, as well as Blades with a catch that his minimum is always two for the blades roll or something.

The Special Power that gives him range is quite nice so I do like that. I will hold my opinion until I see the Dark Avengers ATA if there is one.

Another lackluster Spider-Man figure in a set based on Spider-Man. Blegh...if he were 50pts I would consider playing him. But he still has no range and hes AV & DV are too low.

He gets a 6 range psychic blast and whoever he hits will then have to roll to break away as they get a web token. That's not bad at all

I like that dial. Compared to the HoT Venom he should be less dangerous(because of the already mentioned Osborn's medications). I think he will play nicely with the other 3 Dark Avengers we have (Bullseye, Iron Patriot and Daken) for 400.

I wonder how LE Daken will fit into the #s (supposedly 72 points, I think was said) and the possible Dark Avengers ATA.
