oh nono that was not pointed at you, ive been reading several threads today, and this just kind of seems to be a general fighting point, who's worth what and why, i think its silly, i think Rhulk should be worth more money with this logic: if i stick both in a microwave for an hour, the result is 2 puddles of plastic, Rhulk will have more plastic in his pile. but people scream Deadpool is worth more because he is the temporarily popular character that is good to use, its silly how angry people get over clix, which literally boil down to colorful plastic with numbers on it
Its tickle me elmo all over again and again and again

You're assuming more plastic is better. I think Deadpool would have the more colorful pile of plastic and thus would be better. Value is in the eye of the beholder even though ebay, MM, and T&T say otherwise. And rep to you. I haven't microwaved clix, but they do burn well if properly fueled.
Personally, I don't wholly agree that Red Hulk is as "desired" as Deadpool, at least not from my experience here on the realms. Their value, however, in my mind is equal. The sculpt, playability, dials, etc. are all even in my mind. But value, for the most part, is a subjective thing so it varies. Regardless, however, I think it's rude to come in here and simply comment with (essentially) "You're just whining". While Rollin' may have been able to communicate his frustrations better, it doesn't mean he is whining. He is simply frustrated over people's unreasonableness. I would understand if a trader were to say "I want Cosmic for Deadpool" in their thread or in the response and then that is the end of the problem, frustrating but still reasonable. But to me, it sounds like they are just saying, "No, that's not a fair trade" or something to that effect. Which, like Rollin, I find flawed. So, if you don't agree with Rollin that's fine, because like I said, value is subjective and thus mostly a matter of opinion. However, I think you should communicate that as a reason for your disagreement than to simply call Rollin' a "whiner".

lol, i have never actually stuck one in the microwave, but id imagine id would melt it, the closes ive ever come to that is making a bomb on the 4th of july with starwars miniatures, they melt very very quickly, and good point with the more colorful plastic, but i think they would be similar color wise, their primary colors being red and black, deadpool does have some grey and a little brown, im not too sure how to price those colors though...

Reason: bit more to add
Posting this to all the people who read this and just think I am a whiner.
Here are some facts for you all, believe them or not, up to you.
1. Do I want a Deadpool? Sure
2. Have I made offers for him? Sure
3. Have they been refused? Sure
4. Am I angry about that? Not really, I get turned down for trades all the time. (In fact I would like to point out that most people, probably 98%, on this site are very respectful with their responses that I have recieved personally, and I appreciate that. Thank you. However to those of you who don't even bother to respond I say, No thank you.)
5. Is Deadpool high on my list of wants from this set? No, not really, I would rather have Spider-Hulk, which I would trade strait up for a Red Hulk also.
6. Why would you try to trade for Deadpool if you don't want him that badly? I have a friend who is the biggest Deadpool fan ever (that I know) and I would have liked to get him one, but oh well.
7. Have I ever offered a trade that was totally lopsidded my way? Yes
8. Have I ever recinded an offer when I did more research on figure values and realized it must have been a huge insult to the person involved to even be offered such a ridiculous trade? Absolutley, I want my trades to be fair in value, however I personally place more value in monetary fairness, and not how I feel about it. It is more logical that way and makes more sense to me. To each their own though.
If I make you a trade offer, even if you think it's ridiculous, please at least respond with a kind and simple "Thanks but no thanks."
Ok, I have done the pricing and here is what I found doing pricing checks on the unmentionable site.
Deadpool
66 sold, minus highest and lowest prices is 64
Average Price for Deadpool is $30.69
Red Hulk
35 sold, minus highest and lowest prices is 33
Average Price for Red Hulk is $27.74
The price difference in these two figures is $2.95
My point is this. It is not unreasonable to ask a trade Red Hulk for a Deadpool. Even in the person trading the Red Hulk was to add in 1 or 2 rares, the person with the Deadpool is getting a great deal. If the person offers a Red Hulk and any one of the other SR from WOS, the person with the Deadpool is coming out way on top. Please, don't try to tell me offering a Red Hulk for a Deadpool is unreasonable.
Even though the prices are similar, 30 more Deadpool's sold. He is more wanted and therefore in higher demand than the Red Hulk.
Also, by selling that many more, his 'average' price is going to be lower. Overall point is Deadpool is the in and Red Hulk is kind of a "hated" character.
Your numbers are reasonable, and should mean a 'fair' trade, but Deadpool is just the 'in' thing right now. I personally would not trade one straight up for a Red Hulk, but then again, that is me. Someone else may.

I agree with your points except one. I don't think the number of Deadpool selling way more than Rulk really matters, I believe the general idea is sound that they are still going to be similar in price average wise. I actually considered this when I was pulling numbers but after thinking it over, I don't think total # of sales would affect the average more than a couple bucks either way. I actually got lucky and pulled some good trade fodder just so I could get a Rulk, but ended up with an extra so have been attempting to trade him off. I really don't need more than one. For the record, if I had pulled a Deadpool, I would have very quickly traded him for a Rulk.

It depends on the amount sold. an extra 30 could drop the price for Deadpool:
Dropping the price of Deadpool, or raising the price of Red Hulk. I have been turned down for numerous trades as well involving both figures. But, that is trading/ And, despite what you say, personal feeling is always involved in a trade.
Deadpool, as I stated is more popular than Red Hulk, so he will be a higher trade value. Because of this, he is also a more in demand figure (66 sold over 33). That alone will influence how he is traded for. Someone who likes him will offer more, and therefore, drive value up.

I'm just going to say this: If those prices listed are the average difference....then Rulk + 3$ = Deadpool. Most people can't be bothered to nickel and dime for the 3$ so..... Rulk = Deadpool.
To liken going after the 3$ (to me) would be the equivalent of being the newspaperboy from Better Off Dead.

As the person #6 is referring to, I bought one actual booster of WoS and was lucky enough to get a Rulk. Before I did, I started a thread in the main general discussion on ways to narrow down my odds of pulling a deapool (what case, what booster, what location in brick). After a few good non-topic comments, the thread died. Now that I got the Rulk, I created a trade for Deadpool (have about 40 REV LEs from Mutant Mayhem plus some customs).
It's probably down to page 5 or 6 at this point with no hits. I understand how he is the "big" thing right now. I've seen enough trade threads that are trying to pick him up. I've also seen enough threads of people getting rid of their Rulks.
Do I want DP? OF COURSE!!! I agree with rollinsolo that the values are similar, but at least on this site, one figure seems to be wanted more than the other. Let's not complain about people pointing out some quick facts on figure's interpreted values.
I'll probably just sell my Rulk and buy DP later when the prices stabilize.
I do think that there are more Deadpool fans out there. The guy is on a dozen comic covers some month. Red Hulk might be a overhyped artificial A-list character just like Deadpool, but he's not on as many covers, and (anecdotally) I certainly don't remember seeing as many people saying "We need a Rulk" as I remember saying "WizKids needs to remake Deadpool." (FWIW, I don't really like either character - Deadpool is a joke that's grown old, and Rulk is a Jeph Loeb monstrosity.)
Considering that the value of SRs is almost entirely based on emotion (Cosmic Spider-Man and Vapor have the same rarity), and you are more likely to run into a Deadpool fan than a Red Hulk fan, I can see why Rulk for Deadpool trade offers are likely to get turned down. It's simple probability.
The person who turns down a Rulk for Deadpool trade is basically saying "I think I can get a better offer." And you know what? He probably can, based on Deadpool's higher popularity. Despite what eBay and Miniature market might value these figures at, a Deadpool fan will probably trade two SRs to get him.
I'm lucky; I was given a Deadpool by a friend at my venue. Otherwise I probably wouldn't try trading for him, as I don't like the character enough to pay the premium that I know he'll require.
Nah, he's not whining, I agree with rollinsolo. Rhulk for DP is a fair straight up trade. It's not like he offered Vapor for a Bombastic Bagman and got denied. THAT'D be whining. But you're right rollinsolo, it is a fairly balanced trade, even if you've got to throw in a rare or 2 to get the deal done.
For the record, I've got a Rhulk and some other stuff that I'm trying to trade for a DP, so I feel your pain rollin. Rep to you for sayin what I felt like sayin.
