When I saw this piece I ended up comparing him to two similarly priced figures -- JL Batman and Crisis Nightwing. Both figures are huge favorites of mine, and this figure compares nicely to each.

My only complaint: No Justice League keyword.

Batman shouldn't have flight at all, unless it's like my Buzz Lightyear dial where he has to start on elevated and end on grounded. Great power set and dial there.

I doubt it will be ruled that way. It's laying out an option, but there's no language there that insists they be played together in order to activate it. I'm not reading the "and" as being a binding item.

I was wondering about this, only getting news of current Batman-related doings from a distance. As it's a Vet Batman in this role I had the impression he (Dick) has been acting as part of a team more recently, but I wasn't sure.

agreed the piece should have justice league keyword unless they know something of whats to come when bruce comes back.

Nice dial...not found of remakes, but this was predictable and for some subtely different...

The worst part though is the Fish-Eyes on the side of his head....

egads, will this piece be known as Fish-Eye-Batman.

Has Mr Grayson worked with the Justice League as Batman?

My thoughts:
1) what a boring stance/sculpt -- oh, it's drawn directly from a comic cover? well, that makes it somewhat more acceptable... ( whether the Robin from this future set will resemble that cover, too?... )
2) another figure with multiple special powers...
3) no, sorry, Batman should not have the Flight ability...

I have offically started to get excited for this set. He is a great piece to play with ANY Robin! That special power is great and him having the flight ability certainly gives the combo some great mobility! Cant wait to play him

I can see why Batman could have the Flight power. His move isn't so high so it really represents a good glide. So no problems there. I was wondering about outwit, but realized Dick is more athletic than Bruce is, where Bruce can out plan and out think almost anyone. So not having Outwit is ok IMO. Is this as good as OOTS Batman from JL which he is replacing? Just a step below. But its a great representation of the Dick Greyson Batman. Well done fig.

Yes -- Dick's been leading the League since James Robinson put his team in place. (Okay, so it's basically the Titans plus Congorilla and Starman/Mikaal, but hey...)
Ignore the name of the power and look at the practical effects. He can move through Hindering Terrain without issue, vault over outdoor Blocking Terrain, swing on and off of Elevated Terrain, and zip past opposing characters without getting stopped. All of those seem very appropriate.

He doesn't have the Carry ability, and he doesn't have symbol, so those won't affect him at all.

In other words, he effectively has watered-down Leap/Climb (he has to break away and can't attack across elevation differences). L/C is a power we see on Bats all the time... perfectly appropriate. The fact that he can't breakaway for free and is limited to 3 damage (with no Outwit) will keep him from being abused... this strikes me as a very fun piece!

What a terribly boring sculpt...[yawn]...I know it's based on a comic cover but come on...a Bats w/ "flight" deserves a cool glide/flight pose right?
