Yeah, it was an over the top example, and of course Show Off is not a broken feat, even with Double Pounce,
but I just think that with the wording of Show Off, it is meant to reference the action which grants the Duo Attack, which I still say is the Free Action, and not the Move Action.
I don't like the precedence of Entangle, and I don't like the interpretation of Show Off/Double Pounce using that precedence, but I guess I will have to accept it!
I actually used Batman/Catwoman for the first time last night (without feats), and that is a GOOD figure.
Even knocked out an Iron Man/War Machine duo (along with Norman Osbourne and a HAMMER minion),
using Bat/Cat with a little help from Brightest Day Martian Manhunter, Arkham Robin, and an Arkham Gotham City Detective.

... free actions following the original power action given still strike me as not setting off the token for the original action that would trigger the others- regardless of whether you have something that could say "no token when x power is triggered"... because in the case above, I read it as Regen being the only action (free or otherwise) that would not cause him/her to receive a token.
maybe I'm just applying too much logic to this since not often does logic seem to make sense in the game where loophole exploitation seems to be becoming the norm, rather than the rare exception.
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.
I think we agree there VictorySaber. I made an extreme example to show how much it wouldn't make sense to have Batman/Catwoman be able to shrug off that token if they used Show Off along with their Double Pounce power.
I say once that original action has occurred, there should be a token given regardless, much like when someone tries a Running Shot but then ends up with no legal targets due to Shape Change, etc.
But this is one reason among many why I am not working at Wizkids I guess!!!

its more of people don't understand logic.
This is the easiest way to figure stuff out in this game.
Break it down.
Did this happen?
Did this happen?
IF all the things happened then it is legit.
So it would be like this
Are B/C being given an action that would result in a token?Yes
Are they using the Feat Show Off? Yes
Are they using Duo Attack? Yes
Was the opposing character KO'ed? Yes
Then the feat kicks in and says that no token is applied.
There is only one action being given and that is the SP Double Pounce which contains a move and free action all within one action.
Yeah, I think this is key here. If the text was:
Quote
DOUBLE POUNCE : Batman and Catwoman can use Leap/Climb. Batman and Catwoman may use the Duo Attack ability as a free action after resolving a move action.
... then I would argue that Show Off wouldn't affect their use of the SP.

Too lazy to look in the rules now, but is there a list of priorities between rules--> character special powers--> feats? If feats take priority over everything, it all makes sense I think.

The only rule along those lines is that rules on cards take precedence over rules in the rulebook. There is no individual priority order between feats and SPs though.
Oh, urgh. It doesn't say.....IF the duo attack is not an action within an action, and IF duo attack isn't a free action, and IF if if if......
It just says when you use duo attack, no token is given for 'the action'. Doesn't specify if it's the duo attack part or the other part. And duo attack is being used. So I say "happy free action-no token-will feel good to do it 'cause you'll only pull it off a few times in your 'clix career" day!
