"Follow Adam!" Victory said to Clea as one of the foul abominations of the realm descended upon the two of them. Clea was doing her best to try to provide support, but thus far most of her efforts were suffering from mystical interference that was more than she had planned for.

She attempted to argue against leaving the soldier behind, but as he protected her from an attempted attack, she could tell that it would be better to follow his advice than waste time and risk what might happen if she fell prey to the forces that were ever continuing to try to surround them.

"Let the party commence!" Mephisto announced, as the flames brightened and danced higher.

2) The Fire Demon will rake his fiery claws across Major Astro's chest. A 10 to a 16. 2,4=6 for barely a hit for 3 clixs as the Major cannot seem to bring his shield up in time.

3) "Resting I was/eating a cow/ slaughting you/ I'm enjoying NOW!/ Etrigan will Charge to E-12 and swing on Adam, a 10 to a 16. 4,3=7 for a hit for 3 -1 for Toughness =2 clixs total as the Demon breaks through whatever shield Adam had put up.

4) The Blade Demon will try to make up for being lettin bot the Skrull and Adam slip through his grasp by trying to hit Jazinda again. Skrull roll of 6 means she really has his number. He will try to breakaway, instead. Roll of 1 means he will stay transfixed as she uses her camo ability to blend into the hellish enviroment and leave him wondering where she went.

5) The Bone Demon will take a stab at Clea with his Bone Dagger (B/C/F). A 7 to a 16. 3,6 =6 for a hit. Blades roll =1 for 1 clix.

6) Free "Now that Strange's little strumpet has been dealt with, let us turn our attention to the other person here who fancies himself a mage." Mephisto will Outwit Adam'd Willpower.

7) Saving the last action for himself, Mesphisto will target both Adam and Mantis with an Incap attack. An 11 to a 15 and a 13 (+1). 3,1=4 for barely a hit as Mephisto makes it seem like his attack will miss...until the groung forms demon hands to firmly grasp the Guardians! Both will tak a clix from the forced push. Now to see if the hands squeeze a little more. Roll of a 2 mean both Adam and Mantis will take another clix, KO'ing Mantis. Mephisto takes a push.

As she hit the ground unconscious, Mantis began to fade from view, a sign that Clea's efforts had been worth it as the woman was teleported back to safety. Knowing that her own safety was as much a concern, she continued to move towards the portal even as Adam and Victory were struggling with the foul beasts that were trying to keep them there.

"I nullified your anchoring spell when I first appeared. If you want to escape, you have to do so bodily." Mephiso chuckled to himself. "But don't worry, Apprentice." The Flames flared, and a pictured formed inside of them of Mantis's form in another part of Hell, being held captive. "I'll take good care of her...good being a relative term of course!" Which set off a bout of evil laughter.

2) The Styx Demon will try and bring the pain to Jazinda. An 11 to a 15 (+2) as the Styx Demon will just try to punch the Skrull with his meaty fist. 4,4=8 for a hit for 3 clixs and knockback to E-20 as he connects hard.

3) The Bone Demon will follow the Skrull into the Flames by moving to F-21. He will take a clix of Damage.

"How Delicious!" cackled the Lord of Lies as Clea tried in vain t get the Shadow Demon to turn on one of the lesser Demons. "Like they would settle for their usual fare when mortal flesh is around..."

2) Free Mephisto will Outwit Adam's Willpower.

3) Mephisto will target Adam with an Incap attack. An 11 to a 14. Roll of 3,1=4 for a hit as the boulder behind Adam springs a hand and grabs Adam tightly, roll of 6 for Mephisto's Dark Bargain means Adam got some shielding up in time not to take extra damage from that. 1 clix from the forced push, however.

4) The future looms/ I am your DOOM!/ Etrigan will breakaway Charge to F-13-Roll of 4 says yes- and will attack Major Vicory, a 10 to a 16. 2,3 for a miss as the Major swings Caps shield around in time.

5) "I don't like being used, human!" The Shadow Demon will use it's Claws on the lovely Clea. A 9 to a 15. 2,4=6 for a hit but Blades roll of 1 means minimum damage...or that the Demon is just playing with it's prey. 1 clix to the Shadow Demon for the push.

6) The Fire Demon with take advantage of Major Victory being engaged with Etrigan and will strike at him from behind! A 9 to a 16. 3,4=7 for a hit for 3-1 for Toughness =2 total as his hands burn!

A man who once devoid of his home and power base, split himself into 2 different avatars, colloected powerful artifacts for across his pitiful world and practicially invented a new system for casting spells for himself while living in a cave! What have you done in the mystical arts to compare? He keeps people like me and her uncle out of your dimension 24 hours a day, every day. Even ignoring whatever taunts the vile one had for him, Adam knew he didn't have the might to make it out on his own. The current forces coming down on him were overwhelming, and the oncoming forces were too much for him to handle if he was to get the gem to safety.

Instead of focusing on himself, he let loose a blast that cleared the way for Clea and Jazinda then threw the Soul Gem to them with all his might. Fortunately, Clea caught it safely, and the space wizard saw Gamora help cover their escape before he began to fall to unconsciousness, prepared to face whatever might be waiting for him when he came to...

Thank you for the game! I can't say I may have got many point out of it, but at least I accomplished my mission. That makes 3 of them, so it'll at least be an 'even' matchup should it comedown to Gem Warfare (arguably, depending on what you consider an 'even' division of the gems powers).

Personally, I imagined it as him simply lying and using fake images to try to wear down the resolve and hope of the remaining Guardians. Ultimately, though, I'm pretty sure it's up to Wakandaman as to what their "real" fate is. Hopefully, I'll find out soon enough.
