MF vs. Enterprise: Are you kidding? Enterprise has at least 50x the firepower and shielding. MF might get away, that's the best I'd give them.
No arguments here. This is a ridiculously one-sided matchup. Now, Enterprise vs. Star Destroyer has sparked more fanboy debates than Superman vs. Hulk.

This is harder than you suggest. The borg cube is MUCH faster than the death star, and it's unlikely the Death Star could get a single solid hit on the cube until the cube was seriously damaged, which I'm not sure the Death Star could accomplish. The Cube's power draining technology is going to be devastating to the Death Star's main weapons. Mostly it comes down to whether the Death Star's small-ships are capable of doing enough damage to the cube to slow it down enough for the Death Star to win. I'd bet on not. Despite the death Star's seriously out-massing and hypothetically out-gunning the cube, the cube will win.

It depends on when in the story the fight takes place. Worf practically defines "the guy who gets beat up at the start of the story to show how tough the opponent is." Chewie, however, never really does more in the movies than look intimidating and hard-handle some stormtroopers, but the Ewoks managed the latter, so it's really hard to judge either of them being a sure win here.

Depends on how they're fighting. Data has superior strength and aiming abilities, and Bobba's intimidation value will be useless. The bounty hunter primarily seems to attack from surprise. In a straight-up fight, I'd put money on Data. In a hunt, Bobba.

Khan's a planner more than a fighter. Vader for sure in direct combat.

Even in a straight up fight, Data cannot win. It is not in his personality to attack first. Even after being attacked, he has always continued to try and end the conflict peacefully. He is extremely disinclined towards fighting.
Boba Fett on the other hand, has no such hang-ups. He's shoot Data without thinking twice about it, and he carries enough firepower to put the android down.
Without a personality, nobody would care about any of these characters. If personality isn't an issue, then Data, Lore and that other android from the last TNG movie would all be equal. What fun is that?
I think the story was myeh to huh?!? The casting was fantastic except for Kirk, who's petulant baby face I wanted to smack in most scenes.
Zachary Quinto was fantastic as Spock. He stole every scene he was in and made the movie watchable.
Yeah to me Zachary had that same effect on Heroes and I don't know if it's been revealed on the forums but the next Trek film is supposed to be a combination of Space Seed & Wrath of Khan.
Star Wars has always been the more popular, but I feel like that is starting to shift the other way at long last, mostly due to George Lucas' greed in trying to squeeze every last penny he can out of the Star Wars franchise. At the same time, Abrams has re-invented the Star Trek franchise and made it cool again (or maybe for the first time? At least that is true for many).
Personally I've preferred Trek since I discovered it in my teens with the Next Gen. It tends to be smarter most of the time, with some interesting moral lessons thrown in. I also enjoy the symbolism in Trek.
As a kid I was a huge fan of Star Wars. I watched Trek with my dad sometimes - and it was okay - just not as action packed.
I watched the middle years of Next Generation and DS-9. I tried Enterprise but it wasn't too my liking enough to become regular.
I saw some of the movies and found them either okay or decent.
Then Star Wars returned and I made all the excuses a good fan could for the first one - but secretly I knew it sucked. I threw away my money on the next too and pondered long and hard on what went wrong.
I thought I just outgrew it - and watched the original Star Wars again - but no, it was still an amazing movie.
To make sure my children were well-rounded Sci-Fi fans, we watched the entire Star Trek films from 2 through Abrams over the past summer. I didn't recall how much better every single movie was compared to the "new Star Wars" movies. Even the weak ones had great moments.
I think part of the strength is the solid understanding of who each character is. And, I have to admit, Captain Kirk is an amazing character. He is able to will his way to success thanks to the skill of his crew. Its a perfect mesh of leadership and team.
Star Wars is about individuals and their personal agendas. Sure they help out sometimes, but there is something special about a team working together to achieve something.
I thought Abrams take was interesting and had some real clever moments. I thought the mining ship was a little overdone and that "its unstoppable / no wait, this is how we easily kill it" ending is always a poor out in any story. But endings are always a weakness for Abrams (and a lot of creators).
I would consider seeing the next Trek in the theatres...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.

Boba got dropped by a blind guy.
Data wins easily.

Well there's that and THE SUPER SPEED, SUPER STRENGTH, and the fact his body is highly resistant to injury. It took a bolt from a WARP REACTOR to kill Data but Wesley Crusher went back in time with The Traveler and prevented it from happening. I think it would take multiple blaster hits to drop Data but all Boba would get is one shot before Data ran over and popped him like a grape. Then there is the fact Data can make trillions calculations per second, employ strategies from a million generals, and pretty much know a hundred thousand outcomes to the fight before Boba can even decide what type of ammo to use.
Ah, yes, the old Star Trek vs. Star Wars internet debate...
...only the true uber-geeks know that there is no debate: Star Trek is 500 years or so in our future, whereas Star Wars was "Long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away". Duh. Apples to oranges, anyone?
Eat, drink & be merry... for Cthulu will rise up from R'yelth to devour us all! Current trade list here
but the next Trek film is supposed to be a combination of Space Seed & Wrath of Khan.
OOOOOOHHHH!
If they can pull off the magic of their Spock replacement and get a great Khan I am all on board. Big shoes to fill though. Physical menace joined to sophistication and exoticism isn't exactly easy to come by.

As Star Trek has shown no examples of time travel I must concur.
