My Doomsday who was pushed, got his impervious outwitted and took 3 poison damage from Larfleeze and his two constructs. Then Doomsday cleared and took another 3...
Then Black Alice took a potshot and got the kill... hahaha.
Trait:
Orange Construct: Orange Construct objects are objects that can't be picked up and are removed from the game is Larfleeze is KO'd. Whenever Larfleeze is moved, after actions resolve you may move any or all Orange Construct an equal amount. Larfleeze considers characters adjacent to or in the same square as an Orange Construct object to be adjacent to Larfleeze for poison and close combat purposes.
Damage SP:
SUMMON THE ORANGE LANTERN CORPS: Once during your turn, you may give Larfleeze a free action and place an Orange Construct object on the map within 6 squares and line of fire.
From the rules book page 15:
Whenever a power or combat ability is countered, or lost because it no longer appears in the stat slot on a character, all game effects generated by that power or ability immediately end, but any tokens placed on character cards (or feats) as a result of the countered power or ability remain there.
I understand that the TRAIT explains how the objects work. I know that traits can not be countered. However, if the object came directly FROM the TRAIT then I would've never asked the question. since all the TRAIT does is explain what the object DO and does NOT produce the objects wether the trait in outwitable is irrelevant because they are not produced by the TRAIT, they are produced by his DAMAGE SP which can be countered. At this point I look to which POWER PRODUCES them which can be counterd. Then I reference the rule book on page 15.
Are the objects "game effects?" yes. Are these "game effects" generated by a power or ability? yes.
Again I'm not arguing that the trait EXPLAINS what they do. However, I don't understand that by simply having an explination of an effect prevents it from being countered... If the trait was outwitable then Larfleeze's controller wouldn't be able to manipulate the objects but they would still be able to be produced because the power that produces them is his damage SP.
That's why I tagged this thread. Hope it's "serious" enough for you now.
Sweet. Keeping this bookmarked until then. However it is ruled will also affect the latter part of the dial as well. I would be very surprised if it is ruled other than Harpua's suggstion in that post.

Personally I'm going to rule it as Harpua did. It helps to tell the players that "this is how it will be until the official word." ChiRocker please update this thread with the official ruling when it comes so I can just run to this thread on my phone and be done with it. thnx
I would also like to request that if any of my answers helped to answer a different question (that has the same reasoning to answer a different question) to post those here as well so I can update the Questions list.
I would also greatly appreciate if you have asked a question in the past, or have a current question, to post them here so I can keep the list updated as well.
Thank you for consolidating all of the Larfleeze rulings into one post. One quick suggestions: It would be great if you could post the full-updated text for all of Larfleeze's special powers and trait in the OP, just so everyone is on the same page regarding the powers/trait wordings.

I considered listing all of the special powers, but decided against it since they weren't changed drastically (and you can look them up in the Units section), and the Trait was the more confusing part. I will go back and add the specials since you asked though =]
If they do rule that they don't go away its gone be interesting on how they say so.
The rules clearly say when a power is countered/lost all game effects that they produce are removed, other than tokens.
So if i outwit the power that produced the Objects, then by the rules of the game they are removed.
To rule any other way right now would be incorrect.

What if he regains the power? Do the constructs return? Or would he have to start all over again with the constructs?
Ok i got one:
To varify, can opposing charaters attack and distroy the contructs, if so am i to assume that it will take 3+ damage to distroy them?
I think the initial post (now?) covers this, but you can attack and destroy the Orange Construct objects just like you would a regular object. You will need to deal 3 damage in the attack to destroy them.
