This would also count towards the rule of 3. Sturdy Constructs, by allowing the use of ES/D, modifies combat values. Any modifier to a combat value is subject to the rule of 3.
I now feel very dumb, I don't think we've ever had that issue come up in any game i've played.
On a side note, I think this Doomsday's a hell of a lot better than the old one, stats and powers wise, but he's still going to have the same problems in the 300pt modern age games.
Can you see why we have capping. If not he would have a 25 and 26 defense and melee and range respectively. Nevermind damage values with perplexing. It was originaly because of the Con Artist being a cheap perplexor, being able to pump figs defense and damage values through the roof, that resulted in this ruling.
Actually defense values had nothing to do with it. Originally, Perplex only lasted until the end of the current turn. In most situations it was pointless to Perplex your defense value.
If DD is attacked 2 times in one turn, and the SP doesn't show until after the 2nd attack, do you get to add the defense bonus for the attacks made before the power shows?

REACTIVE ADAPTION: Whenever Doomsday is attacked, modify his defense value by +1 for each other time he was attacked this turn.
edit: Nevermind, question answered.
