I likes me plenty of Bob Dylan songs and I gots me no problem with his voice atall. But I guess I'm just too guitar driven to in my tastes because I like Kenny's cover a bit better.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
I think I know how this one is going to go. Not too many people have much love for Bob and I am one of 'em.
Well, HOLY CROW AND GLORIOSKY, ZERO!!!!
That is to say...ER, the next time ya get a hint of this sorta urge to confess something publicly coming over ya, PM me first and give me a chance to at least try to wordsmith it into something not quite so...blunt.
That's what friends are for.
In the meantime, just remember: there's some things ya can think, but not say...and never EVER put in writing.

Bob Dylan.
...or like the first few pages of "The Sound and the Fury," which probably explains why I never found a copy of it among the literary works available for reading at my favorite barber shop, where the wait was too short for the challenge.
That said...
I can easily see myself having a night of enjoyable socialization in a saloon where Kenny Wayne Shepherd's cover version is playing loud and true.
But, listen here, there's just the one version I know that's fit to do the Soxolas Shuffle to and that's...
The Original -- Bob Dylan, you betcha!
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
I guess I set a precedence for foot-in-mouth syndrome for myself. I will refrain from blasphemous musical statement from here on out.
Unless somebody badmouths Frank Zappa. All bets will be off.

RE, I'm thinking more along the lines of "inspirational steps." Instead of punishment, we opt for conversion. Hey, it's never too late to help those who've turned a blind eye or a deaf ear.
How about a walking tour of Greenwich Village that starts along MacDougal Street and carefully retraces Dylan's steps after his arrival in New York City in the early '60s? A litte folk music...a little beat poetry...and a freewheelin' singalong of "Blowin' in the Wind."
Whaddaya say? The first round's on me at the Cafe Wha?

I just started reading On the Road. It's been a long time since I read it last.
I say we give the Clockwork Orange style therapy so that in the long run DTM gets physically ill if he goes longer then ten hours without hearing Bob Dylan sing. That'll straighten him out.
