-love the dial
-sculpt is okay
-super playable
-maybe just a bit too powerful for Beast but close enough for me, plus they finally gave him Avengers ta!
Maybe a little over-the-top for Beast, but certainly powerful. It's a little strange that he can't use Brilliant Tactician, but I guess that's just me being used to the old one. If a hard attack slips through his various defenses he can go down fast, of course, but much of the time he's just never going to take damage.

this is my favorite clix from this set. the x-men and avengers keywords needed this mobile outwitter and hank just owns the board, and as he should. this man's been on a list teams for decades. he's just so brilliant, he doesn't want you to know he's that good until he gets his claws in your face.
What claws, he suffers from too low attack values to start, and then when he can actually hit something he has too low of damage values. Played him twice and against once and he was eradicated all three times with little or no effort. Just a poor dial layout and really not representetive of all that beast should bring to the table. He has been around for almost as long as any current character in the marvel stable, and he certainly kicks more *** then this clix does. I'm not saying he can't be useful, but really not as great as everyone is making him out to be.
Pretty fantastic. I always pull this piece out when I play either an X-men or Avengers team. A little perplex mighta made sense, but you'll get no complaint from me.
The new WXM set has aBeast in it. And he is pretty good, but I think this Beast is much better. Point wise and powers. I'll take traited Supersenses and L/C over sidestep any day. But I do like the other guy's scupt better, though.
WIN/LOSS: 5-0 The first great Beast. The combination of brains and brawn and pushable, this version does it all. Top dial, an excellent Beast. Back dial is solid as long as he is already adjacent to an enemy. Otherwise he needs to really be careful where he picks his targets, sticking exclusively to hindering terrain.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
