Galaxy 500 is a quirky and fabulously entertaining song. And it doesn't hurt that a 1964 Galaxy 500 is one of my all-time favorite cars. I like the song.
But this is also a really good Black Sabbath song, and my vote has to go to for DIRTY WOMEN – Tony Iommi/Black Sabbath.
I haven't known any dirty woman, but I did own a Galaxy 500 back in the day. So it gets my vote. Plus, I liked it for the same reason Red Barchetta is one of favorite Rush songs. The music drives you down the road by putting you in the passenger seat of the car.

Dirty Women's riffs and guitar work has a much more lasting effect on me when I listen to it compared to the Rev. If I were to pick up a guitar and want to learn a song it will be Dirty Women.

I love that this contest is going to often pit two very different styles of music and guitar against each other. It makes me dig and listen carefully, and try to think of which guitar part is shining brighter.
In this case, I'm going with GALAXY 500 – Jim Heath. The whole song is just one fun guitar ride, and his clarity is brilliant. Tony Iommi is a great guitarist, and this song has a solid solo, but it doesn't seem to me like it goes to that next level.
