At least they didn't screw up the Legion costumes.
Going off of the current costumes, I think that's Tyroc, not Jacques. I was wondering who that was next to him - I think Chameleon Girl is a good guess.
And I like the fact that they have a member of the team who was on the last "stranded in the past" team (Gates).

The hairstyle reminds me more of Jacques (sans the white streak). It's definitely Chameleon Girl... the antennae are the Durlan giveaways.
It's like a form of Legion Espionage Squad with Dawnstar & Wildfire.
Having Gates & Tellus on a team together is too sweet.

Teen Titans makes me cry. This isn't just a reboot for Tim. Tim has been erased, and replaced with a different character who happens to have the same name.
I had already gone through the 5 stages and reached acceptance on the subject of the reboot. Now I have to go through them all over again for poor Tim.
I was worried when Adventure was announced as hosting a completely different set of characters, and the only other announced title was "Legion Lost".
Now that Paul Levitz officially has (for the time being) the blessing to continue with LSH, I will transition my current Adventure Comics purchase to the new Legion Lost title...especially since I appreciate both Tellus and Gates.
The Legion Lost team will offer some play potential: either by using the subs from my gallery, but more hopefully from upcoming HeroClix figures!
The one piece of art looks more like the Legion Lost team will not be on Earth, so perhaps this title will be the sentimental home for L.E.G.I.O.N. / R.E.B.E.L.S. / Darkstars / etc. fans.
Oh, sh--. It's Fabian Nicieza. I don't like him, but he's never written Legion before, either. I feel he's a mediocre writer, and this will call back the Peyer/ McGraw era, split teams and all.
I haven't read much from Nicieza in years, though he's got some Legion street cred, having written a letter that made the readers roundup in #303 of the Levitz/Giffen run. So he's a long-time fan, at least. Loved his New Warriors, and from what I've heard, people liked what he was doing with Tim Drake.
Going to try to keep an open mind about this. It was the "reboot" they did after Crisis in the 80's that got me re-interested in DC comics to begin with. But this look of the Titans is not too promising.
Aarrgghh. As a 30-40 DC titles a month guy, I am getting this dread about the reboot. Appeal to a youthful, hip crowd? Perhaps. But I'd still argue that publishing some $1.50-2.00 newsprint-type comic books with flagship characters that are available in grocery stores, newstands, etc would be a heck of a step in re-establishing a young fan base.
Hate to say it, but this reboot says to me "good time for people to cut back pull lists" more than it says "get on board for the future". A few years from now we'll know how effective this was, but hey, if the stories are well written and intriguing, they will be worth checking out.
But seriously, Hawk and Dove by Liefield? Hated his Teen titans stand-in a couple years back. I know it isn't new or creative to bash him, but perhaps he Liefield took lessons/changed his style?
Liefield? Rob Liefield? You gotta be kidding me. They hired man whos style led to dark age of comics with over muscular bodies for male characters with overly huge guns and single large shoulder pads. Of course with his style female characters also suffered.

Now that I've read the Newsarama interview, I'm warming up to the idea of Fabian on Legion Lost. I'll check out #303 when I get home for that letter.
And the black member of Legion Lost is Tyroc. They've figured out some quick hair-growing techniques in 31st century. I attribute it to Black Lightning - remember how bald he was during "Lightning Saga," then he all of a sudden had hair by the time "Final Crisis" rolled around?
It can actually be linked to Black Lightning on another account - both characters were created in the 1970's with afros, went bald during their main team relaunches (JLofA, LoSH) and now have new 'dos.
