Doy, misread it. Had the two positions flipped around. Gotcha
Basically, player 2 is hosed when running a Strucker against an opposing Strucker, because I'm not too exactly sure how you can *not* use the trait during your turn every turn. You're liable to keep some Hydra figure behind some other Hydra figure during every turn when running swarms.
Why couldn't it have the normal "Once per turn" wording?

Simple. Just don't use. Just don't draw LOF through any Hydra characters.

That is a darned potent trait as it is... I'm sure those facing a HYDRA swarm would appreciate the fact that it is limited to once per round and not once per turn

It's more of, "how can you not WANT to do that?"

"Once per turn" still slows it down...it probably matters more only in multi-player games and just how often does that happen?

Not really. It is "once per round, per character"... so change that to "once per turn, per character" and now you've got characters that can shoot through their friends on their turn and PC you through their friends on your turn. Every turn. That doesn't sound slow at all.

If you are really taking advantage of this trait, you are almost certainly running a HYDRA swarm team. And if you are running a HYDRA swarm team, you've almost certainly got a themed team. So which would you rather face:
A) A team that full of characters that can shoot you through each other AND then turn around an use theme PC through each other on your turn
-or-
B) A team full of characters that can do one or the other, but not necessarily both.
I think what would have been better is if they had given Baron Strucker line of sight through other friendly Hydra characters for all purposes. Then it would be a lot simpler to deal with. What was that feat card like that? Ah, I found it, Coordination.

Prerequisites: Any team symbol
Choose a character.
Lines of fire to and from the character are not blocked by character with the same team symbol. 6 points
It would probably make more comic book sense, as well, but whatever...

So if I have a team of Baron Strucker, Crossbones, and Red Skull I would be able to use this trait three times in a round, once per character?
HYDRA Sees All: Each friendly character possessing the HYDRA keyword or team ability may ignore one friendly character possessing the HYDRA keyword or team ability for line of fire purposes once per round.
"Each" does indeed mean everyone that meets the requirement can use it.
Round 1: (First Round Immunity)
Turn 1 - Player 1 passes
Turn 2 - Player 2 passes
Round 2:
Turn 1 - Player 1 has a Strucker see through a Hydra Grunt to shoot someone. Player 2 uses a theme prob through a friendly Hydra Grunt.
Turn 2 - Player 2 has Strucker return fire to opposing Strucker through Hydra Grunt. The Hydra Grunt that used a theme prob could not use Hydra Sees All since he already used it this round. Red Skull uses Outwit through Strucker to Outwit something.
Round 3: (all "Hydra Sees All" are reset)
Turn 1 - repeat
Turn 2 - repeat
I don't see how Player 2 gets screwed unless you are meaning Player 1 can use Hydra Sees All with impunity with Prob Control because they won't be using it offensively this Round.
I do see a problem with remembering who used what on the prior round - but when in doubt I always go with the defender. It is the attacker's responsibility to ensure its clear. I suggest special tokens, rubber rings, whatever clearly shows who did what.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
Player 2's turn. Stuff happens and the trait is used by character X.
Round 2:
Player 1's turn. Stuff happens and, since it is a new round, character X uses the trait again. Yep, even though he just uses it the previous turn. It is a new round, after all.
Player 2's turn. Stuff happens, character X wants to use the trait, but can't since it isn't a new round yet.
And so on...
How is this not a new Round?
Are we trying to say that rounds overlap?
Round 1 is player 1's first turn, Player 2's first turn and Player 1's second turn?
Round 2 is Player 2's First Turn, Player 1's second turn, and player 2's second turn?
That can't be what you are saying, is it?

Do you not see my "Round 1" and "Round 2" and so on?
It is very clearly spelled out in my example where each round falls. Within that round, a character can use the trait once. I am not arguing with you; instead, I think you are misreading my example.

Except then opposing figures could see the Baron through his HYDRA troops to Outwit him, PC him, shoot him, etc. This is definitely more powerful. It's a bit more complicated, but I'm sure if you actually asked HYDRA whether they prefer power or simplicity, they'd choose power.

I'm with you.

This makes sense. New round. New use of Trait.

Why can't Player 2 use the trait? P2 has not used it on Round 2 in this example. They used it on Round 1 which is over. Player 1 then began Round 2 and all previous uses of the Trait are gone so everyone can use it again - until it is used during Round 2.
