I gave it a shot and was instantly hooked. I ran the second Realms mafia game, and went on to run a total of 35 games as of this post. Given that we have 2-3 full-fledged mods who play mafia, it doesn't seem to mean much, but I still consider it an honor to have been nominated. Mafia Info: I started playing when I was 13, just because I was curious. I was instantly hooked, to the point where I was signed up for virtually every game at a given time, despite being rather terrible. I played for about a year and a half, until the start of high school, when I went on hiatus for two years or so. I came back for the summer of 2010, but I felt that junior year was too important to have the time-eater that is mafia as a part of my life, so I left for almost a year again.

As a player, I can get overexcited easily, and also search for the smallest details and hammer them into accusations. I've tried to do that less lately, because it's usually wrong. I've modded a game-and-a-half, and they were both horribly unbalanced with over-revealing write-ups. I think I could do a lot better now that I'm older, but who knows when I will get one going.

Yes i am still new in terms of playing mafia on this site, but a few months ago i completed my first as a mod.( Mortal Kombat). I thought after playing some games on a few other sites i would see how it feel to look on the other side of the coin sort of speak.

I used to play on MOTL before they stopped allowing games due to perosnal attacks and such. Currently i Play on mtgsalavtion. I have to admit when i first started playing i was terrible and sometimes i would post defensively with agression. Which appears to be my downfall still so i am still learning. Mafia Info: I started playing during the second game they ever ran here, and enjoyed it a lot at the time. I eventually turned my attention to mafia games being run at many other websites to learn new strategies, and to bring new (and more importantly, tried and proven good) role ideas and game ideas to HCR.

My favorite roles typically have little to no investigative value at all, as I prefer trying to read people. I get "hunches" that tend to have little factual basis, but tend to strike truer than my logical analysis will. Which either speaks wonders for my intuition, or volumes of ill about my logic.

Probably the latter.

I play Mafia/Werewolf in real life as well, which I have found to be enjoyable, although we're beginning to suffer from, "Adam always wins" syndrome, where they kill me right away no matter what to keep me from participating.
