I have never found that show funny. Which is unfortunate, because I love Neil Patrick Harris and I love Alyson Hannigan. I've tried to watch it a bunch of times and I never make it to the end of the episode.

I have dibs on the comfy comfy chair!

Okay, hell week at work is over so I should be around for this week's thread, unlike the prior thread.

I have an inability to like anything popular. Plus I'm auditioning to be Haven's understudy.

But I never said I like Mafia. Maybe I merely cater to the masses.

I had the same problem for about 5 years. Until one day I found it in syndication and was able to start from Episode 1. Unlike many/most sitcoms, HIMYM is fairly continuity heavy, with many inside jokes and self reverential humor that you need to be in on to fully appreciate.

And now that I am well into Season 2, having seen bits and pieces of other seasons as well, I can honestly say it is one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. I even put it above Big Bang Theory, which up until a couple months ago was very very high on my favorites list.
